- If you have ever wanted to create stickers with your Silhouette Cameo, then this is the video series for you. In Part 1, I walk through how to set up your workspace for best practices as well as show you how to add patterns to your library and develop a color palette to create stickers that coordinate with your artwork. Once we've gone through these basics, I'll show you how to create rectangular and hexagon box stickers. In Part 2, we jump right into making word stickers and clip art stickers for your planner.
This video is perfect for the beginner with Silhouette Studio but also offers in-depth learning for the more experienced Silhouette user who may not know all the tricks and shortcuts.
If you have any questions or issues, please comment below and I'll do my best to help you get your stickers printed. As always, if you enjoy this video, please click the subscribe button and the notification bell to be notified each time I release a video.
Thanks so much for watching.
Thank you for these 2 videos. I have been trying to learn these basics on my silhouette and have been struggling terribly. This was so helpful, I can’t thank you enough!
Thank you so much. I felt the same way when I was trying to learn!
Julie Deal Mooney for president! So many tips. So much easier than what I’d been doing on my first stickers. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks Julie! May God bless you. You are definitely a gem
Wow, thanks for such nice words!
You’re welcome
o...m...g... I have totally been setting word offsets individually. *mind blown* Part 1 was helpful, Part 2 just saved me hours.
I was spending hours getting the little tiny cuts out of the middle of words until I figured out the "release compound path and weld" method so I feel your pain. Glad that it was helpful.
Another great video - very helpful! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
These 2 videos are EVERYTHING! What type/brand of sticker paper do you use? Thanks!
Thanks so much!
These are the ones that I think are the best:

And these are the ones that also use:

I like the way the waterproof ones feel best. They are very smooth and I love writing on them. However, you have to wipe away the Silhouette dust after cutting them or they feel gritty. I buy the other ones when I'm feeling cheap - ha ha. Online labels sells an even cheaper version but I don't like those at all. When you stick them down just a little crooked, there is no pulling them back up, even immediately, without ripping your paper. I need a little forgiveness in my stickers!
Julie Deal Mooney Thanks Julie! I ordered a Silhouette last night and can’t wait for it to get here. After watching your videos I think I can make some excellent stickers for my planner!
do you have a paid version? I can't find the top or side ruler in the free edition, and other features. still trying to learn, thanks.
Karen Ott oh, I do have the designer edition. I forgot all about that!
ok so you didn't say how you got rid of the cut line that was closest to the art design
I’ll have to watch the video again to be sure but I’m thinking I just clicked on it and hit the delete key. I’m so comfortable with the process that I sometimes don’t even realize that I did something! I’ll try to rewatch soon and reply again.
I’m guessing you are talking about the red border around the entire page. If so, that’s not a cut line; it’s actually the cut border, where you can’t cut anything outside that line.
