At everyone who tried this and it DIDN'T work, keep the phone off, take a bit of a cotton swab or q-tip with some rubbing alcohol (just enough to dampen the cotton, not soak it!) and use a needle or pin to push the cotton in and clean out the port of your phone, gently! The rubbing alcohol dries very quickly, but you can take a bit of clean dry cotton and run that through with the needle just to make sure all the moisture is out before you turn the phone on again or attempt to charge it. I have an S9+ (that I've NEVER gotten wet) and this worked for me after I spent hours on videos for the past 3 weeks that kept showing the same few methods of bypassing the warning but nothing working. Turns out, it was just some dirt/dust buildup that must've been bugging my phone. Best of luck!
Dude... thank you so much.. my S10+ was never even wet and I got this stupid moisture pop up and couldn't charge phone without having to use wireless charger. Your video is hands down easiest to use and only thing that worked!!
Tried all of the other hacks recommended to get rid of this annoying message. This was my last point of call before doing a factory reset. Worked perfectly!
Thank you man. This has fixed partly the problem, but I unplug it , the same disturbing message pops up. I have to swirch off my galaxy A8 2018 several times a day.
Wow. Thank you this actually worked. I have tried all the other methods and the only thing I'm the past that worked was a factory reset. Thanks dude this is awesome
If your phone is 00% battery, charge it at least 3 percent in a wireless charger, so make the video procedure and charge it in a regular charger. When my phone dies completely, I use to remove the sim card/memory card port and lay down the phone in some warm device, like internet modem or cable TV receiver, and wait for around 30 minutes. It use to allow back to charge via USB normally. Please let me know if it works for you.
hey i am having the same problem & same phone so just pressing volume down & power button ? while charging on . then release it while blank logo came ? tried but didn't work ?? please guide me the process did everything but still using the wireless charger to keep it alive?
Thank you so much for this the error showed up today and i had no idea why it never happaned before and i wasnt near any moister and i had almsot given up searching for how to fix this, this is the only thing that actully worked.
@@bubu5117 Nope. Tried everything. It went away for a few days but the phone still would not charge or function when plugged in. The warning then came back and that was it. I got rid of it.
Trey Drier oh wow I was about to give up yesterday also, but I found something on google about using a q tip and rubbing alcohol to clean the port and it worked for me when nothing else did
After messages dont put phone to charge! Dry with hair dryer, make slim hole with toilet paper carton and put hair dryer to cold, let 6 minutes or 10 minutes to dry its really works for my s10 If doesn't work like that, do factory data reset wibe catch data and dry again. Hope this will work for u
Have you tried flipping the charger head over and charging with other side. I have noticed that 1 side of my charger gives this error everytime. The flip side charges 1st time everytime. This happens with all chargers not just mine. It is only an issue when phone dead or switched off. Both sides of charger work when phone has power/switched on.
I appreciate you making this video. But what if my phone's fully out of power? And it keeps showing the same moisture error and won't charge, so I cant even fix it?
I tried all the method from Samsung. Blowing by hairdryer, silica gel, clear cache, safe mode.... All those doesn't work. But this WORKS!!! Thank you so much. PS: I faced this poblem several times and it will gone in hours. But this time the problem had been a week.
It's a water proof phone right so moisture shouldn't affect it not charging so u can leave phone in water 15 min take out an well charge but what's causing this notification moisture thing
My S9 always thinks there's moisture in the port. Sounds dumb but I get around it by spamming force quit on the "android system" app while repeatedly plugging in the charger. You need to install a third party app manager since the built in one won't show you system apps. Interestingly the issue doesn't come back even when I restart the phone or if I charge it while turned off. It only comes back when I install a software update, but the method has worked for the last 5 or 10 updates. Shrug.
Have you tried flipping charger head over and charging with other side? I have noticed that 1 side of my charger gives this error everytime (when phone is dead or switched off). The flip side of charger charges 1st time everytime. I have tried other chargers and same result. The chargers work fine and charge on both sides when phone is switched on and has power or low power. Only get issue when phone off/dead - but if error shows, flip charger head over and its gone and charging fine 👍
I had the same issue. For the model/s9s what I do that work 50/50 is turning it on,jamming the Bixby volume and power buttons ranondly, and when the past screen goes on plug in while countuine to jam buttons.
s9+ Didn't work. It's hit and miss. Seems like when it's sitting around for a while or in safe mode, it will go away and can be charged. I spilled a beer all over it... Oops. Scrubbed the charge port as good as I could with isopropyl alcohol and it didn't help. It's been about a week and I know the port isn't wet. I got a different phone used after having my s9 for 5 years. The only other time I saw the notification is when the usb port was ACTUALLY WET.
Fast explanation/straight to the point/extremely helpful/ Thanks!
