- Welcome to Coffee Walk Ep. 109!
Yup, y'all heard that correctly, this is our 4th Jaguar XKE rescue THIS YEAR! This car has been garage-kept since 1966 and has been waiting for the right hands to complete her restoration for 24 years now.
Would you go with black interior or red interior on this beautiful blue Jag?
As always, thanks for watching. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

90 days is generous compared to Richard's one week, and no beating people down on their asking price. the way Dennis involves himself in the entire project from the beginning to the end and works with his staff is good to see.
That Mr. Peck seems a super nice guy. I love he appreciates the car so much he just wants it to go to good hands and back on the road.
I have special place for in heart for XKE Coups....I was 12 years old and my friend from the swim team spent the night so our coach could swing by and grab us both at 5:30 Am. Well coach Mike had another job besides coaching and was an hour late picking us up in his spanking new 12cylinder dark brown tan interior XKE...It was a 3hr trip at the good old 55 mph. I remember having to open the side door in order to close the back hatch after tossing our bags in. Three distinct memories riding in back seat that cold dark rainy morning.....The old saying of a guardrail post looking solid, telephone poles looking like a picket fence and leaning over to look at the speedo as the motor smooth out and the car push down to highway as everything got real quiet at 155mph for about the next hour.... We were not late to warm ups. And we had permanent smiles stuck on our faces that day. Don't remember anything about the swim meet but i will never forget the ride !
Always enjoy your bedside manner when you’re removing someone’s baby from their garage. Cheers!
Could only imagine waking up every morning and living and working the life that y’all live keep it up please love the stories love the knowledge and I can tell y’all are just all around good people from an old retired truck driver👍👍👍
I love the fact kelsy is so involved it just goes to show shes got a good brain as well as being beautiful
Can't wait to see it in 90 days! beautiful
Love your style, Dennis; I’ve been a fan for many years. You’re clearly a really nice, classy person, with a vast knowledge of both Jeeps and classic cars. Not many business owners would be so involved in a purchase like this; and the fact you don’t typically haggle on the price is quite refreshing. Keep doing what you’re doing. Great stuff!
Collins's straight forward negotiation's - no theatrical " Hollywood " b's is very refreshing.
The Best car ever designed and built is saved again Brilliant.
BAHAHAHAHAHA WHAT A JOKE!! AAAHAHAHAHA
Even Enzo Ferrari said the XKE was the most beautiful car he'd ever seen.
Dennis Collins the finest gentleman in the car world
Dennis,I have to say thank you,100%respect to you, every time you deal with one of our british cars you say Bonnet, gear box instead of hood and transmission, nice one keep up the good work, ever thought of coming over the pond on the hunt
Give Mr. Peck the opportunity to buy it back when it is finished. I think he would be a buyer. Kelsey looking gorgeous as always.
He will sell it for $10k and have to buy it back for $100k.
I'd love a copy of that picture, lol
What does the mom look like?
My dad bought one in the same condition back in the 70s! Worked on it just about every night till it was done! Sold it when I turned 16!
Love E-Types. Owned a '65 coupe for 16 years and used it daily in the early '80s. Never once let me down. You can make all the English-car jokes you want, but a properly maintained E-Type is almost bulletproof. Still kicking myself in the ass for selling it in 1998.
A no bull quality car show. Good job
Thx for #109! Another great start to a great weekend. Hope to see all the rescued cars finished & featured before they are sold. Cheers everyone!
You must get your own show👍👍👍!!!
Thank you for preserving automotive history ❤ dennis and crew. Have a great day everyone.
Beautiful find that 👍mr peck is a lovely gentleman you can tell the love he has for that car by the way he talks about it and what he wanted to do with really hope he gets a ride in it when it’s finished and maybe the chance to buy it back 😊
Sure would love to see these cars finished.
God bless you Dennis and all of your crew! I love all your builds and the dedication you show from the minute you show up with the trailer 👌 another gem saved 😁

That is beautiful. It will look stunning in that blue.
Another E Type saved, from a subscriber viewing from the UK, its great seeing a car enthusiast like Dennis appreciating a British car, and knowing his stuff.
That sir is a great find, the work you and team do is out standing.
Another beautiful jag saved. Can't wait to see the progress on it.
Dennis your daughter is a beaut. How nice it must be to work on cars with your children.

Love these videos, love Jags, but definitely time to spring for a new trailer paint job 😀🇮🇪
Love coffee walj
beautiful find, can't wait to see it done
That was the most beautiful car to come out of my country England and I'm talking up to the present day absolutely my grail one day I'll maybe own one .......?
I bought my 1966 EType Jaguar in boxes and one year later was driving it at Goodwood. You cannot underestimate how many parts come with these cars! 😎
Mr Dennis is living the dream.. Good for him.. 👍
You live my dream life; you your passion is your career...and you live in Texas. Nothing could be better! Thanks for another great episode. I love XKE Jags!
Cant wait to see it done.
I have watched many of your video and what always shines through is you really care about finding these cars and getting them back out into someone garage and on the road. Best wishes in your future finds
This is by far, my favorite UA-cam channel. Love your enthusiasm Dennis.
Absolute legend Dennis thank you I wish I could move to Texas and work for you, you are so nice dude!!!
This has become one of my favourite channels. You respect the cars and the owners and the pace is not on adhd-level as so many youtube channels are. That being said, you guys should still upgare your camera equipment. It's 4k time and iphones just dont do the trick when watching from larger screens.
Always enjoy the content, definitely feel like I always learn more about the classic cars and especially jeeps. Keep up the hard work!
Great car, Fantastic Team.
Dang Dennis, talk about living the dream. I enjoy your videos and your passion for what you do. Keep'em coming!
Another one saved! Well done Dennis
Dennis making these vids make you realise he needs his own TV program his knowledge and love of cars is infectious
Be nice to see it fully restored. Great find Dennis. Being from the UK nice to see you finding classic British cars & restoring them. 👍
Outstanding as usual
KELSEY!!!Always great to see her in your videos- what a beauty!!!! loVE THE VIDEOS!!! BobH, N.C.
90 days no way!!!!! Amazing cars the old jags. Remember when I was a kid use to see loads cheap as chips for sale. Worth big money now!! Can't wait to see it finished
The only way would be to have a full team of workers and a ton of new parts........otherwise I'd say no way as well........
Bravo Denis
What's up Dennis.. Thanks for making my Friday complete by watching your Videos.. Much love from Wylie 💪👍
Great find Dennis love those jags
Looking forward to seeing this one done...
Loved the price negotiation. This is what we talked about, it is what it is, deal.
4:28... dad and daughter in the same stance. Dad and daughter at 10:07, love it.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 CONTENT
Dennis . Your a hound dog! You' ll sniff an "e" type for miles!! Finding a coupé is rare now and l agree, Primrose is pants ! Looks like Indigo Blue to me. I hope temptation doesn't get the better of you ! Mr. Peck seemed very genuine and if and when you finish it l'd love to see his face when you show him the finished car. Thanks Dennis and team.
I hope you do updates on this build. I would love to follow. Sweet find. Seeing this makes me want to start on my series 1 coupe which hasn't seen the road since 85. I wish mine was stored correctly. Soon very soon.
I will be looking forward to this one getting back together and to find a new home
It also amazes me how it goes from supper hot to super cold there in Texas
You're so lucky to find, buy and save these classic vehicles
Dennis, thanks for sharing...more videos on the progress, please...P.S. my S1 FHC is dark blue with red interior... it's traditional and some might say boring but I would say gorgeous!!! Go for it!!!
Great car Dennis and crew 🤙 be great to see it done
Counting down the 90 days!!! Can’t wait for updates and to see the reveal video to Mr Peck
Cool. Now how about an update on that BMW?
Make the british classic look its best Dennis thats when we built great cars best regards Stephen from the U.K
Seems like everyone digs the rag top E types, but i'll take a coupe over any rag top. I don't know why. I just love the coupes.
I've had two coupes--a '65 and '66. The earlier car was a daily driver for me in the early '80s. You can fit a ton of stuff in the back, and I used to toss all my camping gear in the back and make the 300-mile run every year to watch the historic sports-car races at Monterey. That car never once let me down. The roadsters are better for local cruising because there is very little room in the back. I agree that the coupe is the better-looking car!
me too but I am bias I have a 64 FHC 3.8
I'm with you. I don't like convertibles, I love coupes, especially fastbacks.
Good stuff
Dennis you are a true craftsmen jags will always be a favorite of mine although my love affair with British cars drove me me crazy I'm sad CV I didnt hang in there longer a triumph stag was the clencher👍🖤
When I saw the guy, and you said "Mr. Peck," I immediately wondered if that was Jonathan's dad. They look the same, just different ages. The car looks pretty solid -- just in pieces. It belongs back on the road! G
Good work Dennis
Hope Mr Peck gets to drive it! With Kelsey as a co-driver.
It amazed me how this seem to be nice guy like Dennis could be friends with richard ..birds of a
My uncle had a 60s jag coupe...took me n sis around up the bluffs in it when we were kids (late 80's) no back seat and we were bouncing around back there like ragdolls lol.
When I was 21 years old I purchased a 1965 white Jag roadster for $1400. That was missing the hood that was stolen and I quickly put it back together and a 1965 black coupe that was complete for $2,500 off a dealer lot. It was a great year of my life.
90 days. In the end of november I will be looking after it.
ARG!! In 1972 I was working for the Army Corps of Engineers on The Lake Lanier boundary survey. A guy had a '68 Jag XKE that he wanted to unload really quick that very day as he was headed to New Orleans to work on an oil rig in the gulf. He quoted me a price. I said I'll take! and I'll go the the bank at lunch. Done Deal !! NOT!!! . A Lieutenant overheard our conversation, left his post. Came back with the exact amount of money and bought the car right out from under me.
Really cool how Dennis doesnt mind gettig dirty.
Red interior and that blue would look sharp.
I hope the old man sees his car finally running.
Yep... nice... I bought two C4 corvettes that have been sitting for a few years, just finished the 96 and is on the road, the cars are red, the 96 has 36k on it and the 92 has 73k it will be done in a few months. I enjoy your site... now looking at a C3 1977 good cage and body.. it's been sitting out side for 3 years... that one is going to be fun. Wish I had your shop and man power.. Keep buying.
Having owned two '67 2+2's (early w/glass; late w/out), being 10 inches longer than the coupe, it is a far more comfortable car: w/easy seating and much smoother highway ride. My old friend, Tom Curren @ Coventry Classics in Orlando restored E-types @ $35,000 restoration cost (back in the 80's).
