Much respect to Mr. Franzese. I met him at a book signing a few years ago at the University I work at and it was an amazing lecture and a fascinating man. Very personable and eloquent man. My great-grandfather was in the bottling business in the 1920's and delivered bottles to Lucky Luciano, and some distant relatives were "connected" in the Jewish mob in NYC in the 1950s/60s in the trucking business.
Thank you, Mr. Michael. I don't think I've ever heard anyone talk of the courage it takes to commit suicide. Suicide is the hardest decision anyone can make. I have a large book and film collection covering every aspect Mob Life including the history of the Mafia going back to Sicily and my own city of New Orleans where there was a war between the Matranga and Provenzano families for control of the docks. First of all Mr. Franzese, I love your content and could listen to your stories for days on end. Things have certainly changed with time and that old organization has faded away with the majority of people just getting involved in legitimate businesses which do not cause any legal troubles. With the world wide web and everyone connected, the possibilities are endless. Great story, sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, he was a real American and a legend in his own right. I respect his decision to meet death on his own terms and the fact that it was his decision not someone elses.
When you listen to some so call x mob guys talk about the life they seem to glorify it, but with micheal he explains it in such a way that it was what it was, the facts the realities and the probably outcome absolutely brilliant 👍all the best keep em coming.
Wow Michael, thank you for putting caution and privacy to the side to do these videos. Couldn’t have been an easy decision. Glad I found your YT page, look forward to catching up on all. Keep up the work.
I love hearing old stories and also love the positivity on the channel.
The real deal! Big fan, big time! Best regards from Brasil!
This channel has grown so fast, lots of respect!!
The stories from your experiences carry great lessons. I appreciate you sharing your experiences.
This is how I keep myself entertained, Michael is a fantastic speaker.
Utmost of respect and admiration for this man. Am thankful you realized many things to change your life, especially the love of a good woman and christianity. As you get older, and hopefully wiser, you find that family and forgiveness matter the most. Be safe my friends.
Always informative and entertaining especially spiritually! Thank you from one Mike to another.
I’m glad you made it out with life left to enjoy.
For a former mafia guy, this man is very well put together, educated, well-spoken and these stories are cool.
Facelift?
Michael is legitimately one of the nicest people out there. Thank you for all you do my friend. God bless.
Truly enjoy how Michael Franzese shares his history with us all.
Hello Mr. Franzese. I appreciate getting to hear your story, especially from you directly, and all the time you've taken to share it with us. You've come a very long way haven't you. It also makes my heart feel good to know you've found Jesus and to see all the good you're doing in the world now and the positive influence you're having now. God is amazing, the things He can do with us no matter where we've been, huh? Much love and respect to you Sir, and thanks so much again for taking the time to share your story with us.
Mental issues are the hardest to get away from.... ive been there myself. Thanks for the story.
Man, what a sad story. Michael you tell a story like no other! I cannot quit watching your videos!
This dude looks 45. Youngest looking 70 year old man ever.
No way this dude is 70 u lying
@@IndiaNumberOneCoubtry swear. His dad just died at 103.
@@jazzdiamond2917 thats insane. I heard italians in italy had long lifespans due to their diets and lifestyle so maybe that has something to do with it. “He has the aging secret DOCTORS DONT WANT YOU TO KNOW”
Wow I just started watching this guy and I would have guessed late 50’s.
@@garnetnard4284 shit late 40s. And just think that's after a lifetime of booze
It's really so nice of you Mr. Franzese to be completely honest & transperant about your previous professional life.
Michel can you talk a bit more about the Italian heritage in the Mob, culture and language. Do you or your father speak some Italian? Thanks Mike, love hearing you talk! Regards from Barcelona!
Thank you Michael. Great life lesson here.
First of all Mr. Franzese, I love your content and could listen to your stories for days on end. That being said- it sends chills down my spine when he says things like "I never held any grudges", "I'm not talking out of school". It is that clearing of the air, just in case somebody who may be involved in this life still, so that they don't take what he is saying as disrespect or take it as he is divulging too much information. That's the scariest part for me. Even though he hung up his hat long ago there is still a code of respect that has to be shown and he does a great job showing that respect. Personally Mr Franzese, I have all the respect for you in the world. Your content is phenomenal and it gives us a glimpse into a life that most of us have only seen in movies.
I’ve never been able to visualize a story until I started listening to Michael
Love the water balloon story but so sad the way it ended for your friend. I truly hope he made his peace with Christ. God bless Micheal🙏🏼✝️
So glad I found your channel here. Great story teller! Thank you!
I can listen to Michael’s stories all day
I would love to hear more regular stories from Mr Michael, but just how his everyday life is. You know, see how human he can be
Fantastic stories, a wealth of insite & knowledge. We met years ago when you spoke at my church. Much respect 🙏. My dad is 95, in good health, still drives & runs around. I'll be blessed if he lives to 103 as your dad had.
It's interesting that former mafia mob can teach you about real life more than any school teacher.
