I opened a suite with 10 clients because the shop I as at wouldn't let us give out our phone numbers or social media, but I made it happen. Handed out flyers, posted in marketplace made facebook ads as well. On top of that we are next to a target and a few other places. Took about a month and it boomed. Location is key.
@@forever2four location matters you want to be seen or be where people frequent, that way you can pass out fliers, cards ect. Also it’s not wise to take walk-in while in a suite but you can if you prefer that.
we have lots of those in Russia, we call them beauty coworkings…..it’s a open space format…. it’s much more profitable for a barber vs being an employee of a barbershop
What size is your suite? I actually put a deposit on a 120 square feet suit here in Miami. They’re set to open at the end of January. Thanks in advance 🙏
I wanna leave my corporate salon so bad. I feel overworked and I realize coming out of school that I don’t care for color. I’m into mostly men’s cuts or even women sometimes. But I’m scared I won’t make it in a suite and I don’t like to fail 😞
Whatever you believe is exactly what will happen . Change your mindset and choose to win and i promise you will . I’m telling you from experience, you can do it but it’s up to you ❤️
You can do anything you set your mind to. If you want to leave the corporate salon and go to a suite I’d suggest calculating how many recurring clients you have that you’re certain are going to follow you, see how much money that brings you in , and then determine if it’s enough to cover your expenses. If it’s not enough then work a little bit on customer retention to the point you’re comfortable leaving.
Well that’s one thing it’s always really cold in there, we are in Miami so it’s actually nice. As far as the music goes everyone plays whatever music they want in their suite. You can’t hear your neighbors music unless they have to volume at a level where they wouldn’t even be comfortable with it.
You don’t, you work under the landlords license.... that’s how it is when you work at a place like Phenix salon suites, can’t speak for other salon suites
