Benefit night at the Dawghouse in London Ontario Oct 19, 2024 that went towards Young Adult Cancer Canada, a group which provides support for families dealing with youth cancer. In memory of Nicholas Greeson who passed away of testicular cancer at the age of 23 in the year 2018.

Great job! What drum kit are you playing? A Roland TD-17?

Thanks. Glad you liked it. No they are Rolands’s TD-25. Great kit. I changed to V-Drums last summer. The acoustic set I had was getting to be hard on the old bones. 😬

@ I hear ya. I started playing a TD-11 kit two years ago, switched from a Ludwig acoustic kit. You can't beat the ergonomics of an electronic kit. Or the ease of setup/teardown. I'm considering upgrading the hi-hat, which is the weak link of the TD-11. Which hi-hat model are you using?

@@jimidenomme7001 My long term goal is to upgrade to the TD-27 to unlock the ability to have a digital snare and ride cymbal. Unfortunately it will take a LONG time to save up for it. Considering an acoustic kit in the meantime, but reluctant to give up the ease of an e-kit... ugh.
