- George Garrett, passed away recently at the age of 78, well know as 'Grantham's Gentle Giant'.
Ringing the bell up ready for tolling, half muffled (muffle was turned after ringing up) to mark his passing, as the people of Grantham gathered in the streets to pay their respects.
Clappers look very smart, lovely to hear the tenor being tolled David.
Amazing ring up and nice color the new blue really brings out the bells and belfry
It does make the bells stand out as they swing.

The 11th bell is the only one that has wooden shafted calpper? Or other of the bells has also wooden shafted clapper
It is indeed, the tenor has a nylon shafted clapper; the rest are wrought iron clappers, apart from the 2# which is SG (spherical graphite).
