Also rabbits risk being dehydrated with water bottles cause they can only get one drop of water at a time so I recommend switching them to ceramic bowls and free roam them. And also why don’t you take them home with you or let a student
Thanks so much for sharing! I just added a ceramic bowl so now they have both options!
Your welcome
I used to use plastic bowls but they would pick them up and knock them over and spill the water so that’s why I recommend ceramic bowls because those are too heavy for them to pick up
The fear behind the name of your channel with the title of the video is pretty funny
LOL
I know you say that you have a student allergic to hay what I recommend is to get orchard grass
Thanks for that tip!
Your welcome if you want to learn more about rabbits I recommend Lennon the Bunny
What do you during standardized testing and those type situations? Do the pets cause any distractions? And I LOVE the accountability bit you teach with your kids. I always try to be proactive in my teaching with student responsibilities and such, will you do any kind of videos on that?
During testing they were in the room and they typically do not distract students. However, you could easily take them home that week if you were worried or the school was concerned. I definitely want to do more videos on how I structure students caring for the pets in the future!
I had a snake escape during standardized testing. Had to tell the principal that I didn’t know which classroom he would show up in 😂
Great question.
Great advice.
I always recommend a leopard gecko as a starter pet.
Keep up the great work!
Geckos are a really great start pet, I agree!
I tried to find your podcast but didn’t have any luck. are you still doing it?
I am no longer doing it. Who knows, might bring it back one day.
I’d like to see how you organize all the things that come with a pet 😳 Thanks for this informative video. You are the inspiration for having class pets for me! This is our first year & oh boy it’s been amazing! Thank you! Btw, I’m @bandaides_and_blackboards over on IG. 😊❤️
Yes! That video is definitely coming! The hardest part about UA-cam is having a lot of ideas I want to share, but figuring out what order to share them in. LOL. That is so exciting that you have a class pet now. How have your students reacted to your class pet?
They absolutely ADORE 🥰 them. It’s been the best decision. Thanks for the inspiration
You have a holland lop or mini lop?
