SHEEEESH NICE CAR! really liked it, I also have a 10th gen civic but its sport, glad to see someone make this car looks amazing! cuz most people like hatchback but I'm not one of them.
I respect the work, came out really clean. I thought about doing this but buying a carbon hood was just much better imo being that it’s so much lighter than the stock hood and already has vents. As for the resin problem, immediately I got it PPF’d. Seeing your expensive mod fade away in the sun is so painful.
Thanks for the install video. I’m going to install this center vent on my 22 BRZ. The angle of attack in your wing is way too high. More than the stall angle. It should be 0-2 degrees
I want to start custom stuff but I don't have equipment, think ima look for a stock trunk or carbon fiber trunk and try a wing out. Love the setup definitely unique for a si sedan brotha
@@gavindanitz There may be a solution to not getting water nor snow in your engine bay with hood vents ,but not sure hence I am asking. There is something called rain guards for hood vents but I am not sure if they work nor if they also guard the air away
Dope yea I started out in August 2021 and now I'm full bolt on minus charge pipes...on TSP+ 26PSI and I be pulling on everything besides M series BMWs...I'm about 240 250 hp but I want to do the headstud bolts b4 I go flexfule.
U and another si youtubers I look upto alot, coz yall are relatable and grounded. Keep it up man
I've got this same set of louvers on my PMM 2018 type R, I love them! Your install is very clean
Probably one of the best things you can do for heat dissipation.

Would this fit a 19 civic sport touring hatch?
Wow nice work
Looks nice.
Any problem with washing your car?
Haven’t washed it yet but the small amount of water in there shouldn’t be a big deal
fire bro i love these vids
bro is gorgeous wtf
Has anyone put these on a non-si/non-typeR? I wanna put these on my EX-L
It’s possible but you’ll need a si wiring harness I believe
is the Civic Si more reliable than the Jetta GLI?
Honestly can’t say because I don’t have experience. My friend had a 2012 gli with 140,000 tuned without many issues.

Don’t let it discourage you. I could barely change a tire when I first got my car. Start out small and work your way into bigger projects.
😮 u know you’re right
Only had my fc1 for a year so hopefully the next two i lll be like u papa
Did you end up noticing the difference in IAT and IAT2 temps?
Never even checked. It's been freezing cold up until the last few weeks. They have been proven to work either way
Does water get in?
Yes
@@gavindanitz is there a certain area where it’s ok for water to get in , or will it like effect the engine performance?
It depends where you cut. Water is safe to a degree
@@gavindanitz where would u say is the best place ? And places not to put it

Any discount code?
I am not sponsored as of now so no discount code.
Thanks
Sick!! I did my own hoodvent, and needless to say, it's rice af. Lmfao. Nicely done!
Looks good to me!
@@gavindanitz Thank you haha, its alright. An actual vented hood is on the list for sure lol
How long have you been building your si for?
Started out stock in March of 2020

That’s the path I would recommend. Definitely pulls well for what it is. Keep it up!
Hey man! I really like the build progress so far. Is there any way I can get in contact with you? Thanks!
Sure. @gavindanitz188@gmail.com
bruh imagine having to cover your hood with stickers evertime it rains... fuck that lmao.. but it looks cool!
awesome! i just cut a hole in my hood too, much faster.
A dozen likes...
