I got my Orion 920 (I think that’s the one I got) soon after you posted your review video. It’s been a great addition to the shop! It’s so important to know where the wood is. I have a bunch of piles of slabs around, in various states of air drying. The Wagner meter is a constant companion for my walks around the property to check the various stacks of slabs.
I wonder what it measures for example, on the, on the surface of three-inch thick lumber and in the center of tree. are the two measurements the same? Thanks.
Hi, unfortunately I don't have an answer for you. Maybe you can pick up an older Wagner meter that someone has replaced? There are meters in that price range but I don't have an experience with them.
We paid full price for a Wagner 910, it is the Deep Depth Pinless meter. A second one would be nice, that way we'd have a His and Hers. Just saying ........ Wagner.
Instant cred with that nice rack of festool sanders behind you
Thank you for the demo, really appreciate it. Stay safe!
Thanks, you too!

Right on!
Thank you. This was very informative.
Glad it was helpful!
EMC is about 20% of RH. But RH is not constant so it is always changing. Nice meter, nicer than mine. I have several, both pinned and pinless.
Cool, thanks

The deepest it measures is 3/4'' deep, so you have to keep that in mind.
Hi, what would be a good choice for those of us who can only afford under $150?

@@CanadianWoodworks okay, thanks for the reply!
Hi Paul I live overseas and I deal with a bunch of exotic hardwoods does it matter if you don’t use the species setting?
Hi, yes very important, even switching between pine with it .35 vs walnut .55 if we don't change the density we will get incorrect readings.
