If you have super oily skin you can also put a little bit on translucent powder on BEFORE your foundation (after primer) to help keep you from getting oily and make your foundation last longer! It sounds backwards but it works!!
One of the best hacks to make your make up last longer is to apply silica powder under your foundation but on top of the primer. Silica powder is usually HD powder. For example silica is the only one ingredient in MUFE HD powder. It is the best absorbing and bluring ingredient. Also you can apply talc powder (a lot of face powders contain talc) to make your make up adhear. A molecule of talc is like a magnet for other molecules. If you have bad reaction to talc feel free to avoid it. If you want to make your eyeshadow be patch-free and intense you should apply powder only to the areas of blending. In general it is crease and browbone. Also this method makes your "all over the lid eye-shadow" or high-shine pigment adhear to the movable lid the best because there is a sticky surface underneath (it is sticky because you don't apply powder after primer and before eye-shadow in this area).
Agreed! I love Tati's new hair color, and also think the bold lips look great. It can be intimidating to try new looks outside your comfort zone, so I think she's setting a good example for the rest of us. Also, I fully support wearing awesome makeup to the office. I don't go quite that intense with my eyeliner (although let's be real, I would if I could draw a wing that well), but I love vibrantly colored sparkly eyeshadows and don't understand why I should have to reserve them for weekends. 😉
Heads up, if somebody wants to get free make up samples to test different brands then check out == ga4u.site == Mine were delivered 3 days ago and I'm sure they shall last for couple of weeks.
Another great tip, if you like matte lips: Put powder over your lipstick with a brush (normally translucent, but if you want to change the color of the lipstick, you can go for eyeshadow). That way it stays on all day and it doesn't smudge and doesn't transfer on food, drinks or your boyfriend/girlfriend :D. I do that everytime I put lipstick on and it works like a dream!
I love that you put this tip here. I thought I was one of the few that still did this. I started doing this in the early 90s when I was in high school. It was in some teen magazine back then. Awesome.
Lynne R.B I don't remember where I have this tip from. But I know that I use it for many years. Also the best tip to get brown lips (you know, because the trend is dark lips today, not pink lips like in the 90s - I loved my pink lips back then), if you only have red lipstick and put bronzer over it.
Katherine Patrick look up lipsence on youtube!!! Its an amazing kiss proof lipstick you can purchase it online through senegence.com 215453 is my distributor code :D you'll need that to purchase
Lol I feel like you would be someone who is in like 3rd grade has a boyfriend and is looking for kiss proof lipstick because you are planning on going to your boyfriends house this weeken😂😂 (no hate this is just a joke)
I love that these are actual hacks. So many bloggers post dupe/hack/Pinterest videos that do not compare to the quality of this one. Tati, you actually tell us what works and why. That is why you are so great.
Maybe I'm just ready for the holidays but I'm feeling major Christmas vibes from your look today. After years of growing my hair out to its completely natural color now I'm tempted to go dark again
This is a big help, Tati! I don't wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis, but I do have a wedding coming up and this will help so much to keep my makeup looking good all day! I always hate when I feel like I've done a nice job of doing my makeup and then halfway through the event, I look like I'm not wearing anything!! Your tips are so clear and much appreciated!
i love hearing you tati honestly i feel more positive after hearing you, please never stop making videos. you have this great aura about you that just makes me happy. so thank you tati for your lovely personality & obviously for the helpful tricks. i also love the fact that you upload so often & never disappear! thats the best part. keep up the great work , always keep popping up in my notifications & doing youtube.
Hi Tati! I bought a Joe Fresh concealer at the drugstore awhile ago and it's actually not bad in terms of coverage, but the colour was all wrong for my skin tone. So now I use it as an eyeshadow primer and I have yet to get a crease, even when I use my lesser quality makeup! I'm so impressed. Love hanging with you every day! Thanks for being awesome.
Thank you so much for being so committed to UA-cam! It's so nice to know I can come to your channel every day and see new and interesting content! I don't think you get enough appreciation for the amount of content you put up weekly on your channel. Thank you again!
Tati....you INSPIRE my make-up to try and step out of my comfort zone with colors, tricks, and tips! I CANNNOTTT LIVE WITHOUT your VIDEOS! I LITERALLY have watched your videos then run to the drugstore/Ulta/Sephora or wherever to grab the make-up that you have tried and liked. You're GORGEOUS not only outside but....INSIDE! Thank-You for ALL you do for US here on U-Tube!!!!
Me me pick me *jumps up and down* hahaha Sorry got super silly imitating Donkey from Shrek. I honestly love watching Tati. Her eyes are always so perfect. grrr how does she do that? lol
Tati! I love your hair color, it's chocolatey and perfect for your complexion! You're so beautiful and such an inspiration. Thank you for making these videos!
I never even considered layering up my lip colors until I saw one of your videos a couple months back. I get ipsy every month and sometimes the product is amazing but the color isn't quite right. Using a nice gloss or a matter base helps the color work for me and I'm able to use almost everything! thanks, Tati!
the two best tubing mascara I have found is the covergirl remarkable mascara ( purple tube) and the boots n.7 stay perfect long lasting volume mascara ( gold tube) you can get that at target. but tubing mascara is great they don't flake or smudge especially with hooded eyes it's fabulous and they come off just with warm water
ashleyjlucio96 that's exactly what I have too long lashed and hooded eyes, my lashes literally hit my eyebrow if I open my eyes really wide. Tubing mascara by nature are waterproof, they only come off with warm water on a towel or cotton round and I have to kinda let it sit on my eye for 20 seconds and repeat until it losens up then I gently swipe and it comes off I little tubes. It's great bc all my mascara were transfering up on my hood especially by the end of the day. I suggest the boots n.7 more then the covergirl, but both work. Hope that helps😉
Layering mascara can help with that, I have slightly hooded eyes, long lashes ( never use a lash curler) and waterproof mascara just gets spiderleggy and kinda boring.. I normally use rollerlash from benefit or doll eyes from YLS - but if I know I'm going out and my eyes risk getting to wet I use my normal mascara and then layer it with a waterproof mascara - that can also work if the curl wont last or if it's too hard to remove, the 'normal' mascara adheres to the lashes, and then the waterproof won't stick to hard ;)
priming and setting have really been key to getting my makeup to work. it can really make all of the difference. same goes for covering your lips in liner before applying dark lipstick. you're rocking the dark lip really well. more neutral eyes would probably look a bit more modern with them but this totally works, too!
OMG Tati, before you I had watched every single makeup tutorial you can think of. Never failed, my makeup was still blah at best. My eyeliner was runny by the end of a fun night, I’d get oily, cakey, eyeshadow was nasty, and the worst, my contour was dirty looking. I would get overwhelmed at the store looking at all the makeup, there’s so much! WHAT DO I BUY?! Then, I stumbled upon you. When I went out people couldn’t pinpoint what was different! They knew I was always semi okay looking haha, but I knew how to highlight now! My makeup no longer looked messy and like an oops! My eyebrows look great, they were too heavy, my top water line eyeliner would end up on my bottom, I never used different shadows, and now I know what the best things to buy are!!! Thank you for being so funny, yet teach me something. You don’t come off that you’re trying to be relatable like others, you embrace those sneezes! You are so committed to making sure we feel beautiful! If you haven’t already (I’m going to check!) please do a hot or not for milani makeup! Much love!
Tati I recommend the sephora brand eyebrow duo powders. The color I use to pair with my rich brown hair is midnight brown. It comes with a lighter shade that I use in the inner part of the brows and it is almost a gray brown, and then it comes with a darker shade to fill in the rest which is a deeper brown but in no means is it red in color. The kit also comes with a little pan of eyebrow wax that I don't typically use, and a little mini tweezer, mini angled eyebrow brush, and a mini spoolie. I love this kit it's so compact and only $19. Just thought I'd throw the recommendation out for you and everyone.
Tati, will you try the Hourglass bristle free gold mascara wand? its not cheap and wondering if its worth the heavy price tag. love your videos, thanks
Tati I started doing the same thing with the primers because of your recommendation. i use 2-3 different ones on specific areas of my face and the difference in my makeup is incredible. so worth the extra effort
I'm a flight attendant and often 14 hours shifts or being up at 3 am for work it is hard to keep our makeup fresh and looking good throughout the whole day so a lot of these tricks are gonna help out a lot :) thanks Tati!
The Skone Tattoo Liquid liner is the bomb! It stays sharp all day long and the pencil itself doesn't dry out and lasts a long time. I got one in my ipsy bag and i've fallen in love with it
im also a poor child. like seriously when she recommended the Coty Airspun loose powder, it became my life! It's only like $9 for the product at Walmart/Walgreens (I only knew this because mum - I live in Australia otherwise). It can go a little ghostly white, but the product stays on for a long time when you set your face with it. some of the products she recommends are something you can buy on sale. like literally buy it when it's on sale! If you can, get L'oreal Base Magique on sale (I actually dk the price of this in US). It gets your makeup staying for a really long time. Plus it goes on smoothly. I find buying luxury makeup expensive, so I stick with my regular drug store products, such as: * Maybelline (Age Rewind concealer is a little tricky to find, get the Fit ME! foundations, though the Colour Sensations lipstick range is the bomb. also I love the Great Lashes mascara) * Rimmel (I like their BB Creams and the Stay Matte powder, I like the Kate Moss range too) * MIlani (get the one she uses Conceal and Perfect foundation - it's like $8 in US) * elf cosmetics (most of my brushes come from them) * essence (they have pretty good brushes for a really cheap price) * L'Oreal (I find them to be more of a high-end drug store, but I love love love their lipsticks, and the Base Magique primer, get the Infallible product line if you can) * Revlon (I like the Photoready range - can't comment on other things) I only make it a habit of buying what I need, not want (ok, sometimes I can be a little reckless and buy myself expensive lipstick). TBH you probably have just the amount of product you need. You don't need to have a lot of makeup to put on warrior face
You don't need all those products it's way too much I personally use one eyeliner on my eyes and it lasts me all day from morning to night... we all have different skin so this is what works for her not everyone else
I'm in law school right now and your videos are an escape for me lol my days are so crazy and intense that its so nice to come home and watch some fun girly girl videos that give great advice! Thanks!
Thank you so much for the tips Tati! I'm a nurse, and I sweat my butt off. I struggle with acne, so hopefully these tips will make my makeup stay throughout my shift.
I'm at work watching your videos in between calls at work! I work in a call center and you're keeping me sane today! You're amazing and thank you for doing all you do!
Using multiple primers is definitely one of the best tricks I have learned myself from personal experience. I have extremely oily skin, so for me this is absolutely necessary. I use a targeted treatment for my pores first, a mattifying primer on my t-zone, and then a priming spray by Skindinavia. It sounds like a lot of product, but it feels very lightweight, almost like I haven't applied anything at all. I also find that working in light layers helps with staying power--instead of going in super heavy straight away on any product, working in light layers to build coverage helps liquid and cream products dry down faster and stay in place longer, and helps powder products look less caked-on. Being very generous with the setting spray is yet another great piece of advice--instead of lightly spritzing your face a few times, just go ham with it. I've never understood how anyone gets use out of a setting spray unless they are getting a full even amount on their entire face. Setting sprays are pricey though, so I can understand that. :P Anyway, great video, Tati--even though I knew a lot of these things already, it's always great to see tips and tricks. :)
like the loreal double extend mascara. couple coats of the white kind of like a base and then couple coats of the black over it. the layering makes them look really long and when you wash your fash/your eyelashes are wet - instead of the mascara running or smearing you can literally gently pull the mascara off your lashes and youll see teeny little tubes
Love the dark lip. One of my favorite tips of yours from years ago is going to sleep with a ponytail really high up on your head. I am an older woman that still has longish hair and I never go to bed without my high ponytail!
I've seen pretty much every one of your videos, and I have to say this is my favorite makeup look on you! Everything, eyes, eyebrows, lip color....perfection!
Hey Tati, I would really appreciate it if you could do a natural long lasting school makeup tutorial! All your videos are great and you look stunning with this look! Thanks!
Dear Tati....I have put all of these to use yesterday...and my makeup...especially the eye one was just spottless even past midnight....you are the master of the perfection and I am gratefull to have you helping me to constantly improve or discover new tricks and tips in the makeup world...thank you!!!.big huggs....Jana
murad clarifying cleanser at sephora $28. I got it as a sample and I have been using it for months now. doesn't leave your skin feeling dry. I have normal/oily skin. Hope that helps!
BHA. But it needs to be in a leave on treatment applied to clean, bare skin. For a cleanser, you need something really gentle and low PH so it doesn't damage your skin barrier. your skin is naturally acidic which can actually prevent acne.
I use either the Rimmel Scandal Eyes or Ulta Gel liner pencils and set them with coordinating eye shadows on a detail brush. It doesn't make it last all day but I can get a solid 6 hours or so out of it that way.
today i tried a setting spray over my "one heck of a blot" primer...i can't believe it, it worked! I'm usually oily within an hour or two and i made it 12 hours today with NO oil. thanks Tati!!!!
I feel like I don't look nice with light lip colours and only wear really dark lipsticks like black dark chocolate brown and vampy shades, am I alone on this??
I agree with you in that, if I wear a nude or light pink lip (or no lipstick for that matter), people ask if I'm not feeling well. :P One possible solution is to choose a lighter shade but in a deeper hue. For, example, choose a pink that has a dusty rose or mauve undertone to give it the richness of a darker shade. A "lighter" lipstick doesn't have to only be barely there or bubble gum pink, ya know? :P Some food for thought!
That makes sense. I can't wear light pink or nude shades but I can wear a colour as light as my natural lip colour or even a bit lighter if it's a rose or mauve shade.
Your hair is so pretty! And you're right, we're all people from all walks of life who like to watch your videos before or after work. I personally watch you before going to work at Lush (at the manifacture not the store). I love you because you're so talented and true to yourself. Oh and gorgeous to look at!
My favourite tip for long lasting lipstick is an oldie but a goodie. I apply liner all over my lips as was done in this video, apply lipstick, BLOT with tissue, then apply lipstick again. My grandma taught me this years ago and it works like a charm every time.
Love all these tips! I've been using the cream eye shadow as a base trick ever since I started watching your videos Tati. You used to use it as a base for a smokey eye all the time and it's the BEST tip! Love it
you can use rose water (just spritz on to skin) and then sealed in with jojoba oil or grapseed oil (oily skin) rub into face well. dab off excess oil and voila perfectly primed face that moisturizes skin and doesn't cause breakouts.
Same here! The benefit porefessional gave me a multitude of whiteheads on my super sensitive cheeks before the night was even over! It's soo frustrating..
I'm the exact same, I actually use a thin layer of aloe Vera gel after my moisturiser! It doesn't so much for lasting power but it really smooths everything out! (Just make sure to let it dry in before you start applying product)
Want to see a vid on the inter workings of your vanity and how it's set up! Redoing mine and geeking out on what others are doing. Have a lot of love for ya!
Use less product, for instance when put ur foundation on avoid ur under eyes. When u put on concealer put it on on ur cheeks and get s sponge and slowly bring it up, the least amount of product under Urs eyes the better. If u have dark circles color correct with a peaches shade if u are fair or a salmon/ornage if u are medium to deep, but again as little product as possible and when u set everything pat a powder in.
I have the same problem with creasing. Whenever I put concealer under my eyes and set it, It looks like a have major wrinkles after a couple hours! I just avoid the fine lines when concealing and only put powder.
Jaz Eli I use hourglass eye primer underneath my eyes, as well as baking with Laura mercier power. The only concealer that doesn't crease for my undereye is the urban decay.
Try the Japonesque Velvet Touch Primer with the EX1 foundation, Estee Lauder Double Wear or Becca Ultimate Coverage :) my cousin uses these and she's a nurse
I'm also a nurse. My makeup does stay on for my entire shift but I get oily... Kinda inevitable at the 12 hour mark, regardless of what primer or powder I use. I just blot throughout my shift. (Yes I wear a full face of makeup to work sometimes)
Abby Liang- what about people who want to wear full faces?? I love wearing makeup, and wearing light coverage isn't a choice in my eyes. I work 8 hours day, then have 6 hour classes after that. So I need to make my makeup last from 5am-10pm. Wearing less makeup isn't what I want.
Another vote for Estee Lauder Double Wear, and if you wear lipstick try filling in your lips with liner before you apply lipstick - I do this when I know I won't have time to touch up my lips with anything more than a dab of lip balm during the day, and it works a treat. I use Flormar primer with Double Wear and it works well.
Elf has a primer/sealing product. One side is a primer for your eyeshadow and the other side is liquid with a brush that you kind of gloss over your eyeliner to "seal" it.
I have this problem too. I assume it's because of my mildly hooded eyes. doesn't matter what shadow or primer I use. I pretty much avoid liner on top because of it.
I have hooded eyes too and setting with black powder DOES NOT WORK for hooded eyes. As long as you find a gel or liquid that sets (the laura mercier gel liner is like cement) you'll be fine. If you put powder, it's gonna get all up on your crease. Just stick with a waterproof gel or liquid.
Something that I've found that helps me to get really nice sharp winged liner is to use Benefit's They're Real liner applicator, but instead of the product that twists out of it, I use the Loreal Infallible gel liner. Essentially using Benefit's applicator like a brush- it's got that perfect sharp tip, and I love that because it's a plastic applicator I don't have to worry about accidental feathering.
If you have super oily skin you can also put a little bit on translucent powder on BEFORE your foundation (after primer) to help keep you from getting oily and make your foundation last longer! It sounds backwards but it works!!
is that what she did in the video or was that her baking?
That was her baking. (:
That's what I do all the time! It really works but if you try it make sure that you don't use TOO MUCH powder since it can get very cakey
bumblebeefarm thanks :)
Yes! I do this to my clients who are oily. I dab it slowly so it doesn't cake up 🖒
One of the best hacks to make your make up last longer is to apply silica powder under your foundation but on top of the primer. Silica powder is usually HD powder. For example silica is the only one ingredient in MUFE HD powder. It is the best absorbing and bluring ingredient.
Thanks for sharing a makeup hack ... I haven't tried this one!
Tati you are welcome. Thanks for the video it is very informative !
I have to try this!! Thanks for the tip! ☺️
beautybybrookn you are welcome!:)
Where can you get silica powder?
Your dark hair + this makeup look is STUNNING 😍🍁🍂
Gorgeous !

i love just listening to tati talk, she has such a calming presence.
Love watching your videos while getting ready in the morning ❤️
HI KENDALL!!!!!
I do the same thing 😊
Same! 💙
+Livviee Biersack your last name is too funny 😂👌🏻
Instead of just coating the lashes it literally creates a tube around each lash, making them appear thicker
Would love to see a fall office appropriate makeup tutorial :) PS You look beautiful!
I like this idea, I just got an office job and I think I might have to scale it back a little from what I usually wear
Agree!
yes! please!

I heard you blot first lightly with tissue if it's extra creamy then powder dab😗

Your eye shadow+eye color combination looks stunning Tati!
yes, tutorial please!
Did you watch the video? She showed the steps she used and products!
Did you watch the video? She only told us what was on the lid, she didn't say anything about the products in the crease.
She didn't ask what products she used, she was just commenting on the fact that she likes it
they're referring to the first comment.
Tati could you please do a dedicated video about kiss proof lipsticks, or lip liners with a certain lipstick that are kiss proof?
Katherine Patrick look up lipsence on youtube!!! Its an amazing kiss proof lipstick you can purchase it online through senegence.com 215453 is my distributor code :D you'll need that to purchase
Katherine Patrick if u use the kat Von d everlasting lipsticks they don't even come off when u eat!!
I swear by Lipsence!
The Stila liquid lipsticks are excellent! Colour Pop won't budge . They are pretty drying though.
Lol I feel like you would be someone who is in like 3rd grade has a boyfriend and is looking for kiss proof lipstick because you are planning on going to your boyfriends house this weeken😂😂 (no hate this is just a joke)
This eyeshadow really brings out the green in Tati's eyes! I'm seriously mesmerized!!
Please try out Hourglass's metal mascara wand!!
I watch someone try it... Tina Tries It or something and it looked so tedious. It curious as to whether Tati will like it or not.
Yesssss I would love to see a video on that!!!
Tati baking
Yes! I just happened upon Tina Tries It, and it looked interesting.
Tati, please review Hourglass steel wand mascara.
Laura Lee also tried that mascara
YES! My day is complete. And Tati, I can't stress this enough, but red lipstick suits you sooooooo sooooo well!
The marriage of your shadow, dark hair and plum lip... It makes your eyes look silver. So stunning
My biggest concern is the lower waterline. Nothing stays on my lower water line for more than an hour.
same!😩
Apparently nyx tres Jolie liner lasts ages on the waterline.
I had the same issue, but i found a way for me. I line the upper and the lower lashline and I set the liner with eyeshadow.
Anne Rud I have tried the eyeshadow trick, and even that doesn't work for me!
essence has an awesome and super cheap water proof liner! i use it everyday
Tati, I love your lipstick 😁 That colour looks so good on you 😍
Oh yes Tati do tell us. fabulous berry shade
It's Ofra Bel Air :)
thanks all
No. Did you guys watch the video? She said catrice. It's called berry bradshaw... Wtf
the nude one she mentioned is bel air by ofra.

Your dark hair & red lips & white shirt is a BOMB combination!
Tati! I love your hair color, it's chocolatey and perfect for your complexion! You're so beautiful and such an inspiration. Thank you for making these videos!
am I the only one who loves to watch her videos before going to sleep? they are so calming. every time she posts a video I always keep it for night.
I'm loving the dark hair! Total bombshell brunette !!!! 😍

What does tubing mean? Lol I have never heard this term used in the makeup world.
What is tubing mascara???
Love your new dark hair. Dark hair for people over 25 makes all of them look younger! Gorgeous!
Tati, your lips look AMAZING in every color!! I bet you could even rock a green lip!
priming and setting have really been key to getting my makeup to work. it can really make all of the difference. same goes for covering your lips in liner before applying dark lipstick.
you're rocking the dark lip really well. more neutral eyes would probably look a bit more modern with them but this totally works, too!
your makeup look reminds me of Christmas!!!😍
Yessssss to multiple primers! Once I started doing this as well, SO many makeup issues I had disappeared. Only wish I'd realized sooner!
early squad were you at doe
holo💿
HOLOO 😍😍😍
not sure but I think I'm at home.. 😅
Much love!
hey tati, i love your videos. but if you were in a budget and trying to star your makeup collection what 10 or less items would you buy?
I'd like to know the same for brushes. I want to revamp my collection starting with my brushes, but I don't want to spend boatloads
BrownCM wait until closer to the holidays. There will be a ton of brush gift sets out to look at and buy.
BrownCM Eco Tools and Real Techniques make really affordable brush sets.
Tati I started doing the same thing with the primers because of your recommendation. i use 2-3 different ones on specific areas of my face and the difference in my makeup is incredible. so worth the extra effort
eyeshadow primer on the nose its amazing and makes your makeup on your nose stay all day
You've been talking about your hair all week and I didn't really see a huge difference...until today! Stunning!!!! And your makeup today is gorgeous.
You did this just in time for my homecoming ily 💗
I'm a flight attendant and often 14 hours shifts or being up at 3 am for work it is hard to keep our makeup fresh and looking good throughout the whole day so a lot of these tricks are gonna help out a lot :) thanks Tati!
you're the real makeup goddess, Tati
The Skone Tattoo Liquid liner is the bomb! It stays sharp all day long and the pencil itself doesn't dry out and lasts a long time. I got one in my ipsy bag and i've fallen in love with it
these tricks can't work when you only have one product on each make up category😂 #poorkidsproblem
So true xD Seriously, I don't have any money right now and my foundation, powder and mascara are running dry. I'm freaking out!!!
noooo
Use inglot duraline
im also a poor child. like seriously when she recommended the Coty Airspun loose powder, it became my life!
I find buying luxury makeup expensive, so I stick with my regular drug store products, such as:
* Maybelline (Age Rewind concealer is a little tricky to find, get the Fit ME! foundations, though the Colour Sensations lipstick range is the bomb. also I love the Great Lashes mascara)
* Rimmel (I like their BB Creams and the Stay Matte powder, I like the Kate Moss range too)
* MIlani (get the one she uses Conceal and Perfect foundation - it's like $8 in US)
* elf cosmetics (most of my brushes come from them)
* essence (they have pretty good brushes for a really cheap price)
* L'Oreal (I find them to be more of a high-end drug store, but I love love love their lipsticks, and the Base Magique primer, get the Infallible product line if you can)
* Revlon (I like the Photoready range - can't comment on other things)
I only make it a habit of buying what I need, not want (ok, sometimes I can be a little reckless and buy myself expensive lipstick).
Thanks!
This helps so much bc i have the homecoming dance this week and will definitely be using these!

Emma McKenna same !!!
Thank you so much for the tips Tati! I'm a nurse, and I sweat my butt off. I struggle with acne, so hopefully these tips will make my makeup stay throughout my shift.
you look breathtaking today Tati ;) ms. snow white
I'm at work watching your videos in between calls at work! I work in a call center and you're keeping me sane today! You're amazing and thank you for doing all you do!
you should do an ulta brand review video!!!!
Can someone explain to me what a tubing mascara is please? Thank you
Basically, it puts a tube of makeup over your lashes that will make them look longer. When you wash it off it looks like little tubes of mascara.
like the loreal double extend mascara. couple coats of the white kind of like a base and then couple coats of the black over it. the layering makes them look really long and when you wash your fash/your eyelashes are wet - instead of the mascara running or smearing you can literally gently pull the mascara off your lashes and youll see teeny little tubes
thank you, I've been scrolling for a minute to find out :))
Jade Lee I was gonna ask this too 😂
Ohhhhhh I use to use those when I was a teenager, I didn't know that's what they were called.
Thank you!
I have combo/oily skin, and I find that baking my t-zone really helps keep the shine down and my makeup on.
Tati is my makeup mom. 👄
Love the dark lip. One of my favorite tips of yours from years ago is going to sleep with a ponytail really high up on your head. I am an older woman that still has longish hair and I never go to bed without my high ponytail!
Wet n wild eye primer, love it ❤️cause I get oily lids so I love ❤️ it
YASSS
I've seen pretty much every one of your videos, and I have to say this is my favorite makeup look on you! Everything, eyes, eyebrows, lip color....perfection!
Girl, you are BREATH TAKING.... Beautiful!!! That dark hair is fucking AWESOME!!
I'm using these for homecoming! Thank you so much! I watch your videos everyday!
Do beginner winged liquid eyeliner =)) or liquid eyeliner battle
the dark lip looks awesome! It makes your eyes pop like crazy!
Hey Tati, I would really appreciate it if you could do a natural long lasting school makeup tutorial! All your videos are great and you look stunning with this look! Thanks!
please try the golden wand mascara for "wtf "

can u recommend any products that help get rid of acne? ^_^
something with sulfur in it. I use bye bye blemish and acne free therapeutic mask. saved my major acne prone skin
murad clarifying cleanser at sephora $28. I got it as a sample and I have been using it for months now. doesn't leave your skin feeling dry. I have normal/oily skin. Hope that helps!
Mario Badescu products have helped me with my stupid acne prone skin.
BHA. But it needs to be in a leave on treatment applied to clean, bare skin. For a cleanser, you need something really gentle and low PH so it doesn't damage your skin barrier. your skin is naturally acidic which can actually prevent acne.
Curology has kept me acne free for months. You could also try the acne.org system. Both worked really well and they're easy regimens to follow.
girl you can pull anything off! the dark hair the dark lips. even that makeup look in a office!!!! your great love you!!!!
i have watery eyes and i cant find a liner thats stays in the waterline. any suggestions?
I use either the Rimmel Scandal Eyes or Ulta Gel liner pencils and set them with coordinating eye shadows on a detail brush. It doesn't make it last all day but I can get a solid 6 hours or so out of it that way.
Bobbi brown long wear gel eyeliner. I have stoopid watery eyes and nothing stays in my waterline - except this. It does not budge!
Which liquid liner do you use? I also have watery eyes and no eyeliner seems to hold up very well
i have used so many urban decay lorac buxom smashbox they all budge everwhere they dont last not even an hour on my waterline
thanks ladies for your suggestions
today i tried a setting spray over my "one heck of a blot" primer...i can't believe it, it worked! I'm usually oily within an hour or two and i made it 12 hours today with NO oil. thanks Tati!!!!
sounds weird but Tati always looks like actual royalty
I use 2 different primers when I do my makeup and I do believe it makes a difference. Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks Tati! 😘
+Radwa Gal. I look terrible in dark lipstick and can only wear light colors. Everyone is different.
+Eva Rosso 😨 thank you so much for that tip, I honestly didn't even know
I can't do a flat brown in any shade without a lil red in it. it looks hideous on me. I can rock a vampy red brown instead of brown red lol😙
LOVE THE LIPS!!!!
Teresa
My favourite tip for long lasting lipstick is an oldie but a goodie. I apply liner all over my lips as was done in this video, apply lipstick, BLOT with tissue, then apply lipstick again. My grandma taught me this years ago and it works like a charm every time.
You remind me so much of Monica from friends :)
Love all these tips! I've been using the cream eye shadow as a base trick ever since I started watching your videos Tati. You used to use it as a base for a smokey eye all the time and it's the BEST tip! Love it
Thank you, this is so interesting! You look like Snowhite today :)
Girl the dark lip really pops with your darker hair! Rock it Tati you look amazing! Love your tip videos!
every primer I've tried got me pimple and blackheads, my skin is so much better since I quit it!
you can use rose water (just spritz on to skin) and then sealed in with jojoba oil or grapseed oil (oily skin) rub into face well. dab off excess oil and voila perfectly primed face that moisturizes skin and doesn't cause breakouts.
oh yes, I already use rosehip and grapeseed oil with my serum, my skin has improved great
Same here! The benefit porefessional gave me a multitude of whiteheads on my super sensitive cheeks before the night was even over! It's soo frustrating..
I absolutely love rosehip oil! Since using it I haven't had a breakout and the texture in my skin has gotten better!!
I'm the exact same, I actually use a thin layer of aloe Vera gel after my moisturiser! It doesn't so much for lasting power but it really smooths everything out! (Just make sure to let it dry in before you start applying product)
Tati your video made my Monday better!!! 😭❤️❤️❤️ who agrees?
I've never been this earlier before omg
Want to see a vid on the inter workings of your vanity and how it's set up! Redoing mine and geeking out on what others are doing. Have a lot of love for ya!
I have tried it all to avoid creasing under the eye... I give up, idk what else to do
Use less product, for instance when put ur foundation on avoid ur under eyes.
Jaz Eli I use a really good eye cream, blend my concealer and bake with a damp beauty blender
Never ever creased
I will definitely try this
I have the same problem with creasing.
Tati's audio for her videos is always so perfect.
I literally use the same primers in the same exact way?! That's so so weird to me😭😂
I used to but I started to use Smashbox Photo Finish primer and I don't need to anymore. I love it!
Thank you Tati for uploading all the time and providing us with quality videos! xx
I work 12 hr shifts as a nurse so I need makeup to last 14 hours AND I have super oily skin haven't found anything that works yet
I would suggest wearing lighter coverage foundation, the more you put on the more terrible it will look when it come off..
Abby Liang-
what about people who want to wear full faces?? I love wearing makeup, and wearing light coverage isn't a choice in my eyes. I work 8 hours day, then have 6 hour classes after that. So I need to make my makeup last from 5am-10pm. Wearing less makeup isn't what I want.
Another vote for Estee Lauder Double Wear, and if you wear lipstick try filling in your lips with liner before you apply lipstick - I do this when I know I won't have time to touch up my lips with anything more than a dab of lip balm during the day, and it works a treat. I use Flormar primer with Double Wear and it works well.
This would be a gorgeous holiday look! Your green eyes, red lips and white top is giving me major Christmas vibes 😍🎄
Every time I set my liner with black powder the powder gets in my crease! Does anyone know how to fix it?
Keisha Senka its probably an oil problem, are you using a primer on your eyelid and setting with an eyeshadow?
Elf has a primer/sealing product. One side is a primer for your eyeshadow and the other side is liquid with a brush that you kind of gloss over your eyeliner to "seal" it.
Hmmm... what eyeshadow are you using? That sounds like a really transferrable shadow that isn't staying in place :\
Essentially using Benefit's applicator like a brush- it's got that perfect sharp tip, and I love that because it's a plastic applicator I don't have to worry about accidental feathering.
makeup tutorial with products you hate!!! please---- #snapchatfam
