Why in the world would you give every single element an aggressive dedicated support, but then ruin the weakest physical with a weak healer. We needed a DEFENSE SHREDDER, instead of healing. We needed PHYSICAL FARUZAN, not a double dipping HEALER who just so happens to be a little bit of a physical support on the side.Why XIAO got the most perfect support he could ever ask for, But then Eula mains got shafted. Us Eula mains waited THIS long to be punched in the face with a healer while Xiao mains have a time of their lives. Biased favoritism. Oh and guess what? Against single target, less buff. :))) what kind of logic is THAT. I don't like how they changed his voice direction from what we heard during that event where he was reading Varkas letter. He used to sound awkward and nervous but still pretty realistic, now it's just 🤓 taken to a 100 lol.

Every time I look at Mika’s hair I am reminded of a chocobo. Nobody can convince me that this teenage boy isn’t a chocobo in disguise. Jokes aside, Mika is just too cute and I want to pull him just to have him. I’ll find some use for him even if I have to bench some people!
For me he’s bootleg Len Kagamine lol. I also pulled him just to get him because he’s cute even though I hate physical but I’m happy I got him in a single 10 pull because I was too close to pity. If nothing else I can at least use him with my hyperbloom team in overworld 😂

Also he still requires 2 types of boss ( this trend is getting really annoying) and extra materials from the stardust shop. New players are getting screwed again and old players too, being again a c6 locked character.
you might be onto something-it's a good comp for physical dps razor. rosaria to apply cryo, bennett and mika buffs atk and atk speed + heals, and razor as the main source for electro and main dmg. 🤌
I think Wanderer can abuse that ASPD buff, and Cryo swirl will give Wanderer crit rate. Put Layla or Diona you'll get Cryo resonance means more Crit rate Wanderer-Diona/Layla-Mika-Yunjin/Yelan/Anything you need on Wanderer

I'm a wanderer main in overworld. I also had to build diona/shenhe because this abyss prefers mono elements. And got C4 mika while pulling for shenhe. But my mats resources are low RN so how much value mika provides to wanderer?
This boy was literally the only 4* that kept coming home before I finally got Shenhe. Not one Sucrose or Diona, it was all Mika. Now he’s C6 and I feel obligated to build him 😂

Minor correction: c3 levels up his burst and not his skill, so in order to get the maximum atk speed, you need to have mika at c5. C3 just increases his healing capabilities
I do feel bad for Hoyo’s design team. A big part of why bennett, Xinqui, and Xiangling are so utterly broken is that they released early. They didn’t have enough actual play data, and had no idea how utterly bonkers they were going to be outside their intended niches. The fact that Ben’s C6(which is supposed to represent the character at their highest utility) breaks him in the eyes of the player base is proof of this. Now they’re stuck in design limbo with any new 4-star supports… they can’t power creep the original 3, because they’re already stronger than they were supposed to be… so all they can do is keep making pigeon holed supports who can only rival the OG supports in strict, extremely specific situations and builds.
Missive Windspear not being an ideal choice for Mika's kit makes me low-key mad because it matches him so well (and also I already fully leveled it thanks to the 1.5x ore bonus the event gave and I'm too lazy to fully build another weapon right now)
Mika's ATK SPD buff actually feels noticeable unlike Chongyun's and it also goes up with levels so that's nice. It's also been a weird pattern that new(er) characters have weird development materials. Just from this banner: Mika from Mondstadt requires Sumeru boss mats for ascension and Inazuma boss mats for talent levels, Shenhe from Liyue but requires Inazuma boss mats for ascension and talent levels. From a gameplay perspective it makes sense so veteran players have a reason to farm the new bosses but for new players it's quite restricting if they get those characters. Like, Cryo Hypostasis exists but only Aloy and Eula (so effectively just Eula) uses its materials.
I think it's bc each new char requires matz based on the newest bosses Which is why Shenhe needed Inazuma boss matz: there wasnt any new Liyue boss at the time Or why Mika needs Sumeru boss matz: there's no new mondstadt boss (and there probably never will be) As for the Cryo Hypostasis, well iirc that came out BEFORE Inazuma, right? I think u know where im going with this
@@quantumtheabyssalwolf950 Cryo Hypostasis currently is required only for single non-collab character. For some reason Hoyoverse decided to release so many new bosses since 1.5 that most of them are required for 2 characters, while OG bosses are required for 5 or 6 characters.

Here's some alternatives that make sense in the setting for newer characters that have "mismatched" boss mats: Mika - Wenut (Sumeru) -> Cryo Hypostasis Shenhe - Coral Defenders (Inazuma) -> Primo Geovishap Yunjin - Wolflord (Inazuma) -> Geo Hypostasis Heizou - Ruin Serpent (Liyue) -> Maguu Kenki

I just realized something Physical Fischl and Mika might be the new best Fischl build with how you really only need Mika and Fischl for maximum physical damage, leaving 2 slots open for whatever you want to make your damage even better…
Recently I accidentally pulled Cyno when trying to get Bennet as I'm new to Genshin and didn't have him before. Today, even tho at 50-50, I managed to pull Ayaka, C3 Mika, C0 Dori, and increased constellation of Sucrose from C1 to C3. I'm very happy ;-;
To be honest, I don't think he's a dedicated Eula support. Hoyoverse gave him the highest attack speed buff in the game then made him heal about as much as Jean which are universal buffs and probably thought it was too much to make him as good of a niche buffer as Gorou and Faruzan at the same time.
@@TheCottonCandy707 but Faruzan is amazing at C6, Sara is just ok but you can pair her with bennet. But Mika has a lot of different shitty buffs that don't work well Together. He only buffs the ob field character. Which is really bad. All the other buffer can buff all your team or sara has 3 abilities to buff your teammates and you don't lose the buff ja going off field. If mika only buffs 1 character he would need a buff that is 3 times as good as the other buffer to make up for it, but instead his buff is just about the same
Thanks for this review! From what I see in his kit, I think it is very close to the passive of Eula's signature weapon. I also think this is one of the reasons why he is not released together with Eula.
I'm getting shenhe, likely won't use him but since I'll likely get em, nice to have a guide. I level everyone to 70 anyway so who knows, maybe I can find a use
@@hauntered31 eh probably if you have aquila. Their damage is pretty close according to some random tests I found. You could free up a slot on a eula team and mika has cryo resonance. Still though they should up his c6 physical buff by atleast 20%. Or Maybe 15 instead of 10 for each stack on his e.
Mika C6>Bennett in many situation but the saddest thing is that they pretty much work the same way. Buff damage and nothing else, eula energy and CC issue is not solved, there is also resistance issue when fighting non human enemy, eugh. While before C6 Bennett is just better support for pure dmg while Diona is better for survivability+battery with sac+Reso trigger with her burst Btw resonance only work when enemy is affected by cryo while Mika apply almost 0 element so unless you have another cryo character then don't expect the resonance to work unless you didn't use superconduct which is pretty much mandatory for phys.
He feels like a sidegrade that allows Rosaria to go to a reverse melt team. Still, I’m looking forward to how he would work with Varka with his speed buff and healing.

this mika guide was so much more helpful to me especially when it came to his artifacts because every other video just says 4 noblesse and moves on not taking into account any 2 piece sets and that adice helped me build my mika alot better thank you for the wonderful and useful vid
In a way hoyo is nice that the general supports are easily available via free characters or through piamon and permanent banner, unfortunately for long time players these characters are what you might want for your niche teams but they lock the good stuff at too high a constellation.
Mika's arrived just a few hours ago, but I was quite lucky while pulling for him. Got Diona on my first attempt, which was just what I wanted, since I didn't have her yet, then got Mika on my second attempt. Basically, I now only need to make more wishes if I want to try to get Ayaka/Shenhe. ^^ (To think I still don't have Yanfei, even though I wished countless times during Wanderer's banner last year.) Wow, these were my first Cryo characters besides Kaeya.
Hope mihoyo does an Epitomized Path-like for 4 stars. Spent 250 wishes not a single Mika. If he's with Eula, this is okay but damn. Either I try to get him or Eula cons. =_= anyway, congrats to all Mika havers.
that's RNG. =_= it happened to me on Sara. I got all 6 cons on 60 pulls and I dont even have Electro DPS. guess they know who wants it and sabotage the pulls :c
One thing to note about Skyward Spine: it grants 12% ATK speed to the wielder. So on top of giving a nominal ER% from the secondary stat it gives the aforementioned attack speed from the passive as well.
Well atk speed for a support is uselless if you dont want / need to normal atk anyway Favonius is easy his best weapon in terms of support but for people who want to play mika as dmg dealer i guess skyward is realy good
The Electro support for the team comp with Eula should have a long Skill and/or Burst duration so that the Superconduct's physical defense reduction duration can make it to (or can be refreshed for) the explosion of Eula's Burst. Raiden Shogun & Kuki Shinobu come in mind for this requirement.
i like playing ayato and since i'm f2p and relatively new at the game I dont have jean or yun jin, so with chongyun and mika i want to test how crazy the tea drinker can go

Yep that's true. :) It's applicable if eula is still short on energy, so the funneled particles can be what she needs to get her Burst cost full again. But that tip was more to help ensure you safely have enough time for the Soulwind state to last until Eula's Burst explosion, and that if the result is that mika won't get his own particles, then he'll need higher ER than usual.
I guess a work around would be to cast her skill when you switch in, catch the particles and then burst. Sure it really makes it tight to fit Eulas combo to fit int he time frame of Mikas buff but it might work?
I like how you went into detail about his mechanics like his E auto targeting the center of the enemy. Generally a very good thing except when you want to hit weak spots. It would've been nice if you spent some more time analyzing Mika's capabilities outside of supporting Eula though. I feel like Mika's anti-synergy with Eula has been talked about a lot already by everyone but his other team comps haven't.
Gonna try him in my Ayato/Nahida/Kuki hyperbloom team to make Ayato go even more vroom zoom boom. Probably not super needed but tbh there aren't a lot of great 4th slot options for my team.
Meh. I think its kind of okay. I mean, its more fun to know that you can still upgrade your characters in ways. He's usable at c0, you just know that his c6 is the best. If it's perfect at c0... well the journey ends soon yknow.
yeah it is okay. its just disappointing that he significantly buffs your active character if you have more than 1 enemies on the field compared to fighting only one enemy
It's so sad that as an Eula main, this is the best I'll get as a dedicated support who doesn't address any of the weaknesses she has, I'll keep clearing 36* in the abyss with her, but my disappointment it's inmensurable

Im switching out Diona for Mika. My current team is Razor, Rosaria, Diona, and Raiden. Im thinking Mika paired with Rosaria will have more reckless gameplay, compared to the Diona version that allows a more defensive strat

The strongest single target physical attacker is actually machine gun Gorou. Because he is the only character whose aim cancel is canceling normals instead of the charge shot, he has the fastest attack speed in the game with people doing up to 10 shots per second, in fact it's so fast I don't even know if Mika atk speed buff will add to it. Can't wait to try out Mika with my Gorou and Eula, I'm one of those weird physical enjoyers.
Depends! I run Machine Gun Gorou with R3 Compound Bow. The Atk speed buff from Mika can cause a difference! But its also more on the player doing it. Since you basically need to auto cancel NAs in a faster tempo

They should really make ways for other reactions reduce physical damage. Particularly shatter, that way we can also enable geo and hydro element physical damage dealers

Thoma/Yunjin with Inazuma lance is better option，Bc usually u can't get enough CR for their artifacts without sac some def/hp/er stats and that lance give u a lot free energy.
@@owenkyrie7687 depend on your substat luck but yea. Sadly that lance have EM substat so it is kinda ew, 30% ER and energy generation make fav better. There is also an issue of triggering the effect of the lance, IIRC it cannot activate without energy no? so you either have to waste energy if you use E before burst or waste time when using E after burst
@@zeromailss Don't have any problem with my Thoma using right after I used his E, so with no energy. At least it never happened for me, always worked. And the EM substat is great for burgeon Thoma. But yeah if you use him as a simple shielder, fav is better.
I don't think you've shown all the ascension bonuses... I'd expect something like finding regional special resources in the Mondstadt area. EDIT: Checked the wiki and this indeed is his special talent. Good. At least something beginners can make use of (while we AR60 players know the places by now anyways).
Building him with a crit rate circlet considering he's an off-field support seams like a bad choise compared to a HP circlet (or even a healing bonus circlet - if you need even more healing).
I just happenned to raise razor since the only other main dps I have is klee and ayato but I have yet to reach inazuma so I had to have at least anything other than fire. I do have rosaria, but I plan on using MIKA for my razor team along with fischl and xingqiu
Would be nice if they added another support set that is more attack focused. Something like 2 piece: 20% energy regen 4 piece: team wide 5% attack speed increase based on energy particles picked up stacking up to 5 times lasting 10 seconds (picking up particles resets the timer)
I feel like Physical, Geo, and (to a lesser extent) Anemo main carries were all left in the dust when Sumeru was released. I hope that they’ll get more love once again now that we’re gearing up for the next region. Personally, I like his kit. Currently I pair Eula with Raiden, Rosaria (noblesse) and Qiqi (clam) so I think Mika is def an upgrade over Qiqi lol. I plan on using the clam set on him too since I already have noblesse on Rosaria and those 25-30k bubble pops are sooo satisfying on superconduct teams lol. And I since it will be triple cryo + Raiden, I’m hoping that I can get away with HP/HP/HB (or CR circlet if I don’t get enough CR through subs) w/ Fav Lance. So yea, I’m a dedicated Eula main so I will def be pulling as many Mika cons as I can lol
I actually, personally, infinitely prefer Physical DPS Jean over DPS Eula. Eula is awesome, and maybe I'm just biased against her because my most vivid memory of using her is against a bunch of Rifthounds who kept dodging her Burst, but using Jean is just infinitely more comfortable for me because she self-heals and can swirl off troublesome elements. Her CA actually has very good scaling (even if its targetting is buggy) and I'm able to get 36 stars on some Abyss cycles with this team (keep in mind, I am F2P). I only got Mika to C2 today, but I'm hoping I can get him to C6 in the future; my goal is to make Jean's CAs consistently reach 60k.
Good luck! I love Jean too but I forgot she is a decent physical carry as I mainly use her to support other. Sadly I didn't get Mika but I have Bennett, Yunjin and Aquila which should be enough to deal against most things. Problem is I need to level her normal attack talent
If we’re just talking purely what’s optimal for your account, go for Nahida. However, since she’s an archon she was a better chance of actually coming back than Eula would so I can see the struggle.

@@lawfulgoodnun1646 sadly no, Mika only apply one cryo every 15 sec/rotation so unless you have another cryo character, the chance for reso to activate is near 0 on top of the fact that he will have trouble doing superconduct, he heals but doesn't negate knockback unlike Diona (tho Eula have resist after burst so eh) while also have much lower energy generation and the lack of access to sac weapon mean DIona battery is almost double his. His instant heal for the whole team is not bad but on field heal is terrible, Diona can heal 5-7k/tic on top of thicc shield So his only advantage is damage bonus which is only worth it at C6. Before that Rosa is better and ofc bennett or Zhongli
Looking back at this video now if Clorinde is basically a 5 star electro Mika but hee skull actually can aim crit hits that would be nice as a five star version improvement.

Minor correction: c3 levels up his burst and not his skill, so in order to get the maximum atk speed, you need to have mika at c5. C3 just increases his healing capabilities
I do feel bad for Hoyo’s design team. A big part of why bennett, Xinqui, and Xiangling are so utterly broken is that they released early. They didn’t have enough actual play data, and had no idea how utterly bonkers they were going to be outside their intended niches. The fact that Ben’s C6(which is supposed to represent the character at their highest utility) breaks him in the eyes of the player base is proof of this.
Now they’re stuck in design limbo with any new 4-star supports… they can’t power creep the original 3, because they’re already stronger than they were supposed to be… so all they can do is keep making pigeon holed supports who can only rival the OG supports in strict, extremely specific situations and builds.
Anything that makes Crescent Pike Zhongli + Yunjin less of a meme is welcome.
tbf, Pikeli isn't a meme. it's a viable but very niche playstyle because Zhongli is a great abuser of Crescent's passive. even KQM acknowledges it kek

Missive Windspear not being an ideal choice for Mika's kit makes me low-key mad because it matches him so well (and also I already fully leveled it thanks to the 1.5x ore bonus the event gave and I'm too lazy to fully build another weapon right now)
He will make a fine addition to my Physical Team. Xinyan, Dehya, and Razor now have a 4th member for their team and band.
Mika's ATK SPD buff actually feels noticeable unlike Chongyun's and it also goes up with levels so that's nice.
It's also been a weird pattern that new(er) characters have weird development materials. Just from this banner: Mika from Mondstadt requires Sumeru boss mats for ascension and Inazuma boss mats for talent levels, Shenhe from Liyue but requires Inazuma boss mats for ascension and talent levels. From a gameplay perspective it makes sense so veteran players have a reason to farm the new bosses but for new players it's quite restricting if they get those characters. Like, Cryo Hypostasis exists but only Aloy and Eula (so effectively just Eula) uses its materials.
I think it's bc each new char requires matz based on the newest bosses
Which is why Shenhe needed Inazuma boss matz: there wasnt any new Liyue boss at the time
Or why Mika needs Sumeru boss matz: there's no new mondstadt boss (and there probably never will be)
As for the Cryo Hypostasis, well iirc that came out BEFORE Inazuma, right?

@@quantumtheabyssalwolf950 Cryo Hypostasis currently is required only for single non-collab character. For some reason Hoyoverse decided to release so many new bosses since 1.5 that most of them are required for 2 characters, while OG bosses are required for 5 or 6 characters.
@@quantumtheabyssalwolf950 yes I already knew as I already mentioned the reason in my original comment. Gameplay-wise it's so old players have a reason to farm new bosses. World-building-wise it makes little sense. Here's some alternatives that make sense in the setting for newer characters that have "mismatched" boss mats:
Mika - Wenut (Sumeru) -> Cryo Hypostasis
Shenhe - Coral Defenders (Inazuma) -> Primo Geovishap
Yunjin - Wolflord (Inazuma) -> Geo Hypostasis
Heizou - Ruin Serpent (Liyue) -> Maguu Kenki

@@ziedinsta5251 I saw someone already answered this. I was confused about the new patch updates as well. The big updates are done at the same time, since they shut down the servers, but the second phase change is based on the server location's local time. So it's the evening for that timezone.
I just realized something Physical Fischl and Mika might be the new best Fischl build with how you really only need Mika and Fischl for maximum physical damage, leaving 2 slots open for whatever you want to make your damage even better…

Recently I accidentally pulled Cyno when trying to get Bennet as I'm new to Genshin and didn't have him before. Today, even tho at 50-50, I managed to pull Ayaka, C3 Mika, C0 Dori, and increased constellation of Sucrose from C1 to C3. I'm very happy ;-;

To be honest, I don't think he's a dedicated Eula support. Hoyoverse gave him the highest attack speed buff in the game then made him heal about as much as Jean which are universal buffs and probably thought it was too much to make him as good of a niche buffer as Gorou and Faruzan at the same time.
@@TheCottonCandy707 but Faruzan is amazing at C6, Sara is just ok but you can pair her with bennet. But Mika has a lot of different shitty buffs that don't work well Together. He only buffs the ob field character. Which is really bad. All the other buffer can buff all your team or sara has 3 abilities to buff your teammates and you don't lose the buff ja going off field. If mika only buffs 1 character he would need a buff that is 3 times as good as the other buffer to make up for it, but instead his buff is just about the same

From what I see in his kit, I think it is very close to the passive of Eula's signature weapon. I also think this is one of the reasons why he is not released together with Eula.
I'm getting shenhe, likely won't use him but since I'll likely get em, nice to have a guide. I level everyone to 70 anyway so who knows, maybe I can find a use
They really held back with him. Could’ve been rather good, but in this state, just very okay. Much better options, unfortunately.
His c6 seems like a must-have for physical comps.

@@hauntered31 eh probably if you have aquila. Their damage is pretty close according to some random tests I found. You could free up a slot on a eula team and mika has cryo resonance. Still though they should up his c6 physical buff by atleast 20%. Or Maybe 15 instead of 10 for each stack on his e.
Mika C6>Bennett in many situation but the saddest thing is that they pretty much work the same way. Buff damage and nothing else, eula energy and CC issue is not solved, there is also resistance issue when fighting non human enemy, eugh. While before C6 Bennett is just better support for pure dmg while Diona is better for survivability+battery with sac+Reso trigger with her burst
Btw resonance only work when enemy is affected by cryo while Mika apply almost 0 element so unless you have another cryo character then don't expect the resonance to work unless you didn't use superconduct which is pretty much mandatory for phys.
He feels like a sidegrade that allows Rosaria to go to a reverse melt team. Still, I’m looking forward to how he would work with Varka with his speed buff and healing.

this mika guide was so much more helpful to me especially when it came to his artifacts because every other video just says 4 noblesse and moves on not taking into account any 2 piece sets and that adice helped me build my mika alot better thank you for the wonderful and useful vid
In a way hoyo is nice that the general supports are easily available via free characters or through piamon and permanent banner, unfortunately for long time players these characters are what you might want for your niche teams but they lock the good stuff at too high a constellation.
Mika's arrived just a few hours ago, but I was quite lucky while pulling for him. Got Diona on my first attempt, which was just what I wanted, since I didn't have her yet, then got Mika on my second attempt. Basically, I now only need to make more wishes if I want to try to get Ayaka/Shenhe. ^^ (To think I still don't have Yanfei, even though I wished countless times during Wanderer's banner last year.)

Hope mihoyo does an Epitomized Path-like for 4 stars. Spent 250 wishes not a single Mika. If he's with Eula, this is okay but damn. Either I try to get him or Eula cons. =_= anyway, congrats to all Mika havers.
In 20 wishes I got 3 and I don't even want him.
that's RNG. =_= it happened to me on Sara. I got all 6 cons on 60 pulls and I dont even have Electro DPS. guess they know who wants it and sabotage the pulls :c

One thing to note about Skyward Spine: it grants 12% ATK speed to the wielder. So on top of giving a nominal ER% from the secondary stat it gives the aforementioned attack speed from the passive as well.
Well atk speed for a support is uselless if you dont want / need to normal atk anyway
Favonius is easy his best weapon in terms of support but for people who want to play mika as dmg dealer i guess skyward is realy good
The Electro support for the team comp with Eula should have a long Skill and/or Burst duration so that the Superconduct's physical defense reduction duration can make it to (or can be refreshed for) the explosion of Eula's Burst. Raiden Shogun & Kuki Shinobu come in mind for this requirement.
All I wanted was a C6 Mika and now suddenly I’m a C2 Ayaka main with a bonus Shenhe.
I have been saving since forever I have over 20k primos ready for Eula and I may even go for her weapon I also got 42 pity on the banner

Yep that's true. :) It's applicable if eula is still short on energy, so the funneled particles can be what she needs to get her Burst cost full again. But that tip was more to help ensure you safely have enough time for the Soulwind state to last until Eula's Burst explosion, and that if the result is that mika won't get his own particles, then he'll need higher ER than usual.
I guess a work around would be to cast her skill when you switch in, catch the particles and then burst. Sure it really makes it tight to fit Eulas combo to fit int he time frame of Mikas buff but it might work?
I like how you went into detail about his mechanics like his E auto targeting the center of the enemy. Generally a very good thing except when you want to hit weak spots. It would've been nice if you spent some more time analyzing Mika's capabilities outside of supporting Eula though. I feel like Mika's anti-synergy with Eula has been talked about a lot already by everyone but his other team comps haven't.

Im switching out Diona for Mika. My current team is Razor, Rosaria, Diona, and Raiden. Im thinking Mika paired with Rosaria will have more reckless gameplay, compared to the Diona version that allows a more defensive strat
Hmmmmmm, hopefully I get a copy of him while pulling for shenhe… won’t be trying for constellations on him but maybe he’ll get the Kuki treatment in the future so def want one copy.
The strongest single target physical attacker is actually machine gun Gorou. Because he is the only character whose aim cancel is canceling normals instead of the charge shot, he has the fastest attack speed in the game with people doing up to 10 shots per second, in fact it's so fast I don't even know if Mika atk speed buff will add to it.
Can't wait to try out Mika with my Gorou and Eula, I'm one of those weird physical enjoyers.
Depends! I run Machine Gun Gorou with R3 Compound Bow. The Atk speed buff from Mika can cause a difference! But its also more on the player doing it. Since you basically need to auto cancel NAs in a faster tempo

I swear to god that almost every lance user that I have needs favonious lance. Thoma, Candace and Yunjin were already fighting over It and now Shenhe and Mika are (luckily) joining this sibling rivalry 😩
Thoma/Yunjin with Inazuma lance is better option，Bc usually u can't get enough CR for their artifacts without sac some def/hp/er stats and that lance give u a lot free energy.
@@owenkyrie7687 depend on your substat luck but yea. Sadly that lance have EM substat so it is kinda ew, 30% ER and energy generation make fav better. There is also an issue of triggering the effect of the lance, IIRC it cannot activate without energy no? so you either have to waste energy if you use E before burst or waste time when using E after burst
@@zeromailss Don't have any problem with my Thoma using right after I used his E, so with no energy. At least it never happened for me, always worked. And the EM substat is great for burgeon Thoma. But yeah if you use him as a simple shielder, fav is better.

I don't think you've shown all the ascension bonuses... I'd expect something like finding regional special resources in the Mondstadt area.
EDIT: Checked the wiki and this indeed is his special talent. Good. At least something beginners can make use of (while we AR60 players know the places by now anyways).
Building him with a crit rate circlet considering he's an off-field support seams like a bad choise compared to a HP circlet (or even a healing bonus circlet - if you need even more healing).
I just happenned to raise razor since the only other main dps I have is klee and ayato but I have yet to reach inazuma so I had to have at least anything other than fire. I do have rosaria, but I plan on using MIKA for my razor team along with fischl and xingqiu
Would be nice if they added another support set that is more attack focused. Something like
2 piece: 20% energy regen
4 piece: team wide 5% attack speed increase based on energy particles picked up stacking up to 5 times lasting 10 seconds (picking up particles resets the timer)

I feel like Physical, Geo, and (to a lesser extent) Anemo main carries were all left in the dust when Sumeru was released. I hope that they’ll get more love once again now that we’re gearing up for the next region.
Personally, I like his kit. Currently I pair Eula with Raiden, Rosaria (noblesse) and Qiqi (clam) so I think Mika is def an upgrade over Qiqi lol. I plan on using the clam set on him too since I already have noblesse on Rosaria and those 25-30k bubble pops are sooo satisfying on superconduct teams lol. And I since it will be triple cryo + Raiden, I’m hoping that I can get away with HP/HP/HB (or CR circlet if I don’t get enough CR through subs) w/ Fav Lance. So yea, I’m a dedicated Eula main so I will def be pulling as many Mika cons as I can lol

I actually, personally, infinitely prefer Physical DPS Jean over DPS Eula. Eula is awesome, and maybe I'm just biased against her because my most vivid memory of using her is against a bunch of Rifthounds who kept dodging her Burst, but using Jean is just infinitely more comfortable for me because she self-heals and can swirl off troublesome elements. Her CA actually has very good scaling (even if its targetting is buggy) and I'm able to get 36 stars on some Abyss cycles with this team (keep in mind, I am F2P). I only got Mika to C2 today, but I'm hoping I can get him to C6 in the future; my goal is to make Jean's CAs consistently reach 60k.
Good luck! I love Jean too but I forgot she is a decent physical carry as I mainly use her to support other. Sadly I didn't get Mika but I have Bennett, Yunjin and Aquila which should be enough to deal against most things. Problem is I need to level her normal attack talent

If we’re just talking purely what’s optimal for your account, go for Nahida. However, since she’s an archon she was a better chance of actually coming back than Eula would so I can see the struggle.

@@lawfulgoodnun1646 sadly no, Mika only apply one cryo every 15 sec/rotation so unless you have another cryo character, the chance for reso to activate is near 0 on top of the fact that he will have trouble doing superconduct, he heals but doesn't negate knockback unlike Diona (tho Eula have resist after burst so eh) while also have much lower energy generation and the lack of access to sac weapon mean DIona battery is almost double his. His instant heal for the whole team is not bad but on field heal is terrible, Diona can heal 5-7k/tic on top of thicc shield
So his only advantage is damage bonus which is only worth it at C6. Before that Rosa is better and ofc bennett or Zhongli

Only pulled Mika for my Ayato and Yoimiya LOL, I knew I was gonna use him for that ATK speed buff despite having Eula and SoBP

I have been playing since 1.2 and i haven't used the national team once. Not one single time.
Looking back at this video now if Clorinde is basically a 5 star electro Mika but hee skull actually can aim crit hits that would be nice as a five star version improvement.
