I was playing as inquisitor cal from the beginning of the game yesterday and I love how the second and ninth sisters couldn’t understand the GUY WITH AN INQUISITOR OUTFIT was a force user while standing next to a bunch of scrappers

You know I almost uninstalled Jedi Fallen Order because there was no space for storage. Then my Dad bought a extended storage one. Glad I didn't uninstall it, otherwise I would've been upset when I saw the update trailer.

This update is what finally made me succumb to the temptation of the dark side and create a custom battle where you fight five Oggdo Bogdos at once.
I was hoping he'd talk about the "all enemies hostile" setting in the battle grid because I haven't been able to figure out what it actually does
All enemies decided to say "fuck it" and team up against you

I wonder if them experimenting with an NPC Cal is a testing ground for the second game where you can perhaps invade other people's worlds as a generic inquisitor with a moveset similar to Cal's. Not sure if I want that particular bit of Dark Souls in a Fallen Order game, but it could turn out to be fun if done right.

giomd y’know just put Jaro Tapal, Inquisitor Cal, Trilla, the Ninth Sister, and Malicos up against each other and you get a totally realistic entertaining fight sim

Wow so much star wars stuff happened this week, I love it so much. This community is so amazing, we got TROS on Disney plus, clone wars ended, battlefront ended and a new fallen order update. This has been such an action packed week

The only problem is that what buttons would you use to activate it. Every single button on the controller is taken; there literally no room for that input
StarNameKev an idea I had is that on a workbench where you customise your lightsaber, there is an extra toggle that lets you choose to have a single, double, or dual wield lightsaber. If you chose dual weird, it would show up like a single on the workbench similar to the beginning of the game, and you would get two of that lightsaber you customise. By pressing right on the d-pad you would be able to fit them together to make a double blade if you wanted to, and by pressing left you put one away to get a single. In order to change from single to dual wield, you would press right on the d-pad, then, again, if you wanted double blade you would press right a second time. So yeh that was just my idea xD
For me one last thing needs to be added. When you go into the meditation for the training you should be able to replay missions like the AT AT mission.

The combat in this game is by far my favorite lightsaber combat in any game. Makes me cry knowing we can’t have this combat with multiplayer

Literally the first thing I tried was fighting five trillas and I died really quick
These "custom challenges" have made the game 1000000000% more interesting
I started a brand new campaign and I'm playing the full thing as inquisitor Cal. Also inquisitor Cal in grids actually taught me some cool and really useful moves.
I lined up some imperial astromect droids and then forced pushed one then I got a chain reaction of droids running into each other. It was so satisfying!
EA has stepped up their game with a free DLC has EA ever done that?

Spectating other enemies fighting each other in custom battles really reminds me of the toybox in Disney infinity 3.0 where you could also spawn all enemies you wanted from the game and let them fight each other. It was great!

The combat challenge against the legendary beasts is really hard, on the last wave you have to fight Oggdo Bogdo, the Albino Wyyyshok, Rabid Jotaz AND the Alpha Nydak all at once in a small arena. Struggling to no damage it
Sekiro would need such a mod, replayable boss fights is a must!

On my first play through of fallen order, I got the double blades before I was supposed to.
The new update also adds two new lightsaber skins. Also I have a feeling that the main reason why you can't use all force abilities is so you can't just go straight to Dathomir and say "Oh look, I've broken my lightsaber. Time to go to Ilum."
A well-made multiplayer lightsaber dueling game would be pretty damn sick. For goodness sake, there are still people playing Jedi Academy multiplayer for that reason.
Anyway, the one thing I would like for Fallen Order is the ability to switch all lightsaber components independently, so that the double saber isn't necessarily symmetrical. Also the option to replace Cere's lightsaber switch on the split saber with a different one, because it's the ugliest switch in the game and I hate that it's a requirement.
I think both those restrictions sorta spoil the appeal of getting to customize your saber.
Off of what Bombastic said a survival mode where you have to play as young Cal escaping the ship during order 66 would be amazing!

Just bought the game yesterday on Star Wars day, loving it so far
There should be an asymmetrical multiplayer mode where 6 or so player play as storm troopers and 1 plays as a Jedi.
If you're in spectator mode and an AT ST is destroyed the driver will still go after you.

Inquisitor Cal playing with his hair is actually an attack. when you attack him while he's doing it he always precision dodges out of the way then kicks
Here's how they can do ng+ with how the story unfolds. Upgrades such as health, force engery, stim packs, etc will all stay how they are. However, you simply are unable to use push, pull, climbing gloves, etc until you get to that point in the story. Things like the double bladed saber aren't really a huge story moment so I don't see any reason to not have that in ng+. Should've been a simple fix but I guess we can only hope.

I've actually noticed that when inquisitor cal runs his hand through his hair, it's a trap. If you try to attack him he dodges and uses his double bladder saber to wreck you
I wonder how many possibilities this new grid combat mode have. Too many combinations and maybe some awesome battles.

Right I was testing with cals master if I could kill him, I havnt been able to kill him but when u hit him or use the force you will realise that he taunts you, however if u use the Y for Xbox the heavy attack he says like “great work” so hmmm maybe try test just using heavy attacks on him .
