I'd buy these sticks today if they made a small platform that would fit on top of the stick similar to the EWO's and others. I use Helium's now with the HSP platform which works great with my JX3 Hybrid...
You banged a hollow stick against the insulated stick, then a hollow stick against a hollow stick and it sounded the same, how do you know it wasn’t the hollow stick making the noise against the insulated one? I’d be curious on a test with two tubes insulated banging together opposed to two tubes uninsulated banging together
Yeah once I filled the one tube and checked the sound. It was so imperceptible that to me I didn’t want to waist the time. I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m sure it helped, just wasn’t worth the effort for me to fill another one based on my findings. However, if you ever decide to do it, let me know what you find out!
Thanks for your video and insight. I made a one step aider from amsteel with a 3” length of black fuel hose and attached it the same way you did to the bottom step. I took a length of paracord and removed the inner strings so its thin and flexible. It’s tied off to the top step goes down through the tube and attached to the aider. That allows me to pull the aider into the tube and it’s always there when you need it. When the aider is pulledI inside the tube the paracord is wrapped around the dynalock tab so the aider stays in place and doesn’t slip out of the bottom. I also replaced all my ropes with 7/16 amsteel as the smaller profile wraps up tighter and is less likely to interfere with the pins while stacking. It’s a work in progress and needed some fiddling to get it right but seems to work well.
I have 20”. The are easier to get into for my height early-season before I start to lay her up. If I was to get them again, I would probably go with the slightly shorter model. But I am 5 foot 10
I just got 4 of the new gen2 sticks looking for a good aider. Do you still recommend those aiders here? Was going to go with backwoods mobile but I'm starting to think I'd be best off with something like these perma aiders
There’s a few things that you could consider. I think you could get higher with the multiple step movable aider. I did a video on the GC one. If I were to use a fixed aider I would find out a better system for storage. I think at this point in time for me I would use the movable aider.
@@platinumpursuitoutdoors hey did you see the new Vital Ground Outdoors aiders for the new gen2 sticks that just released? Has a containment strap too. They're 1/8 amsteel. I thought about getting 1 3 step and 3 2 step. Idk I could be putting too much thought into aiders. I normally one stick with a 3 step ultimaider and I get wobbly with 3 aiders so now I have 4 sticks. Was thinking put a 3 aider on my base stick and 2 steps on the remaining 3 sticks
When you test the sound with injected foam, your non-injected 'control' stick is giving poor results. You should test 2 injected versus 2 non-injected. Or use something other than another climbing stick as your 'control'. Just a thought.
Yeah your right if you want to get most technical results. My goal was to fill one and see how much a difference it made using a “non filled” stick against another “non filled” and a “non filled” against one that was filled. The results were pretty much imperceptible so there was no point in doing two. The biggest difference I saw was seen with the stealth strips. The biggest “noise factor” on these sticks is the aluminum steps/ standoffs. Thanks for checking in and good luck to you!
Can use a hair tie to keep your cords wrapped up and tie it in first so it'll always stay abd when you fold thrm up you can put 1 more twist in it and connect it to your button.

Pretty sweet setup! 👍🏼
Yes sir!

Awesome videos by the way. Great content. 😎

Alright, nice! Sounds like you’re getting them zoned in!
What are the measurements on stealth strips you used?
Hey man, I’m not completely sure. I do know that Tethrd makes them the exact size. I think on one of Tethrd’s videos, they tell the dimensions.
Will the BMG versa aider work with the Gen3 One Sticks?
No but they came out with the GC-Single fir the one sticks which is the same concept
Where can I find that aider if you don't mind me asking?
The @amsteelguy. You can find him on Eastern woods outdoors, or Etsy.
Good channel man
Thx man!
Is there button at the bottom step to wrap the rope around for nesting, or do you need the genesis rope tamer?
Tethrd now offers the button for the Gen 1 sticks. You can buy them fairly cheap.
Have you had any issues with the foot pegs bending while using aiders?
I have not.
Did you use something to secure the orange pins or are they really tight.
I felt they had pressed in tight enough. If I feel like they are slipping I will just tapped him out and then put some super glue in there.
Ok thanks for the response!!
Yes sir, anytime!
What’s the step length on those fixed aiders ? The options are 14”,17” and 20 “. I’m thinking about ordering two. Thanks !

you ever have issues with your glow tabs coming off? I had to glue 2 of mine. Not a huge deal just wondering.
I have not, but they do glow like nobody’s business!
@@platinumpursuitoutdoors you can walk outside for like 30 seconds walk back in and they are already glowing. They are awesome.
Yeah they are rad!
Where can I find the orange colored aider that’s looks awesome says he only sells in black
I got these from the Amsteel Guy. He may have stopped selling the orange. Reach out to me on IG if your able.
Where did you get the versa hanger? Thanks and good video
@genesis3dprinting let me know if you have anymore questions?
Do you have a link for the aiders?
Yeppers..
