That towel method is A+ fo sho. It’s also A+ when you apply McGuire tire shine in an areole can for off road tires and than get a towel and whip it into the rubber no more tire shine flinging on the side of the vehicle
the hose melting seems like a design flaw by the installer of that set up. An active hose on an active generator is a hazard no matter how you word it, new employee or not. Thankfully your safe man, no serious fire happened here! Keep up the work
