Thanks for watching! It was exciting to get these new models to the table when we did, though it did result in a couple errors, namely in couple applications of the leadership ability, and the paying for Eye in the Sky. Hopefully you all enjoyed it the battle report, regardless, and hope to see you back for the next one!
@@Sz4r1ej Eye in the sky was definitely only used once per round. I was consciously flipping it each time I used it, and flipped it back during the clean up phase
Like I mentioned in the description and comments, there was some improper application of some of the new rules, due to reading comprehension. If the advance had been properly conducted, you are absolutely correct. The situation was done incorrectly by myself
Ha! I love that take on the mistakes! Definitely going to run with that. So far, I am actually enjoying fury and shield (you will see me use him again in Ash's channel at Guerilla Miniature Games soon, as well). At 29:31 Winter soldier does not have pierce on his assault rifle attack. Also Corvus rolled 2 crit and reduces damage by 1, final tally 6 vs 3. Corvus should have stayed on his feet with 2 health

deaths decree only increases next attack dice pool, not next attack action. Meaning you can only use decree to increase dice pool of one attack in a beam or AOE attack (unlike gambits or storms boost which boost every attack in a beam/aoe)

So, about three turns in, we realized the book keeping mistake on the power front. By the time we realized it, we had progressed too far to go back and adjust.
I do not recall him using a medium tool to get up at all, to be honest. We even had a discussion off camera about that, as quite a bit of discussion went into the decision to make a move like that. I wonder if he accidently grabbed the wrong tool during the process. Well, it happens.
I think he actually caught that one later on, and summed it to a reading issue, were he misread it to be the targeted character, not the attacking character. Again, mistakes happen. The camera is just unforgiving, in that it catches everything. I definitely appreciate your comments and feedback though. Regardless of reasoning behind the mistakes, it keeps the thoughts fresh, and we are more mindful in the future!
From what I got of your conversation you misread the rule for deaths decree and thought that it depends on the character you attack rather than character who makes the the attack. The way it works is the health side of charcter who attacks decided if it's 2 or 4 dice
This video has a lot of fun moments but guys the shield affiliation is really not advance where you want and you need to have equal VPW it says strictly advance Small towards the attacking character. Play that game again and I’d watch it.
So, you will notice in both the comments and description of the video, I acknowledged the misread on that, regarding the Advance being toward, and not anywhere. Though, the advance was only ever applied when the score was tied, or Shield was ahead, as Shield never fell behind on points in this game. Having said that, there is going to be more Shield in the future, no doubt about it, as it has become one of my favourite factions. In the meantime, I appreciate you watching it, and taking the time to comment, and hope you come back for more videos in the future!
In the first round, Black Widow ran up, grabbed the objective and walked away. I was under the impression you can only interact after you’ve done all of your actions, so she would be unable to run away?
interact does not cost an action and can be done at any point during your turn. Interaction does not end your turn or prevent further actions unless extract objective you picked up has special rules that prevent you making second move during this characters turn
I think you misread the interact rule, it`s saying you can`t interrupt an action to interact and then resume the previous action. You have to either stand close enough from the start or move close and end your first action then interact before using your second action however you want.

A good battle report, a few mistakes but that happens with new models
