I miss the days when there were literal modded weapons like guns with infinite ammo and infinite damage that also did electric damage. I remember back in the day my buddy somehow gave me an invisible RPG It had no texture model and didn’t make any noise when shooting but if you shot it in a room full of zombies or soldier EVERYTHING would just implode

I remember the explosive shotgun, if a passenger in the car shot the roof while the driver went in reverse it would launch the car to the sky barrier😂

Here to say this works in 2023 for the definitive edition. My test was through using a steam deck through the desktop mode which uses Linux instead of windows. The only thing that does not seem to work properly is the craft menu. You still have to go to a craft table as the one in the menu does not work properly.
Some other things to note -
1. Do not use the character [x] option. I think this was meant to switch characters in real time but what happens is you fall through the map endlessly.
2. The option called “[c]heat mode does not mean god mode. It gives you unlimited stamina and makes it so your weapons won’t break.
3. In the progress menu the max cap is 60. You cannot go above this or give yourself unlimited skill points to max everything. If you attempt to try the game will bug out and close itself.
Where can I find the files on the steam deck? Like the games folder

Does not work for me. It says "EXIT: Cannot find script dll `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dead Island\_x86_rwdi.exe´ so the game does not start at all.
Does this also work for the original one? Or only for Definitive?

I'm having trouble spawning the hacked guns or the developer mod weapons. Anything you recommend to get it to work? It won't let me spawn most of the guns except for stun gun and basic revolver

how do i activate the weapons from ITEM MENU? is there a button?
just hover over the item you want then click on give item in the left bottom corner then when you unpause the game you'll have the item.

all i do is delete the pak0 and insert the one in this archive.. game works fine when i use original.
