I remember Fred Astaire's earlier movies where he danced so effortlessly with Ginger Rogers. They broke the mold when they made Fred Astaire!

The day Fred Astaire died, I cried all the way to work and then intermittently throughout the day.

Astaire's 1st wife was a widow with a young son. He had to court her for a long while before she agreed to marry him. When she died he lost all interest in life and it was only the persistent effort of his friends that kept him in show business.

Huh? Fred Astaire's dancing career and most of his acting career were over by the time Charles III was even born. There's no way Astaire was influenced by Charles' wardrobe.

You are right are some of these commentaries just ridiculous in the pronunciation of some of the words even worse?

When they said that he married a 35 year old lady at 81, it revived hope for me, and I'm only 74, younger in comparison, to Fred Astaire. However nobody would want to marry me, in any case.

Whoever created this video somehow believed that the Prince Charles of today, was alive 100 years ago? He isn't the same man, still alive today and for one hundred years.

Yes, that's a glaring error. We see the WRONG Prince Of Wales. Fred's acquaintance was Edward, Prince Of Wales who would eventually become King Edward VIII who abdicated in 1936.

Please. If your not going to have a live voice, at least get one that can pronounce something as simple as Broadway

Untold truth? What baloney. There's nothing new here. I'm calling it the Untold Untruth because of the many factual errors. And don't even get me started on the terrible narration - simple words mispronounced, how unprofessional can you get? Not a worthy documentary of the great man.

Not a great critique, no facts about his history. He was born Fred Austerlitz to Jewish parents,

Astaire's mother was born in the U.S. to Lutheran German immigrants from East Prussia and Alsace. Astaire's father was born in Linz in Upper Austria, then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, to Catholic parents.
