I get the weather comments at the end 🤣 we've had a fairly nice winter-mostly temperatures around zero. But we've accumulated so much snow in the past month and everyone is ready for it to start melting. The pen: loved watching your handwriting at regular speed. This is not a pen I was drawn to in the beginning (5 months ago) because it looks like a kids pen. Even my 7 year old son refuses to write with anything that looks like this. Glad to know it's a good writer and decent value.
🤣 your 7 year old has discerning taste. I really like the clear one…but I have no idea where I put it. 😂 And apparently, we’re getting snow here this week. I may just wear socks with my flip flops 🩴. Take that!
Definitely worth trying these out. I think I have one away as a gift before but I may have to grab one for myself. Yep - mother nature teased us with sun & warmth in CO today! Snow's on the way though...🙄 Hopefully won't last too long!
I enjoy seeing a writing sample at normal speed, especially given your beautiful handwriting. I have a few Perkeo pens, and while I really have no objections to them, I don't use them much. I think there are a few other pens at this price point I like better. I find all Kaweco nibs a bit too dry, and sometimes I do some work to make them wetter. In any case, I appreciate the fact that you featured an extremely affordable pen.
What’s a pen you like in the below $20 price range? I’m having a brain fart as to what’s out there other than the Kakuno. And thanks so much for the sweet comment on my handwriting. 😆❤️
@@ferociousnprettypens For me, the Pilot Kakuno reigns supreme in this price point. I like that you can swap in nibs from several other inexpensive Pilot models to expand the range of nib options (although that would increase the total cost). The Faber-Castell Grip is also a nice writer. It is over $20 now, but you can still find certain colors on sale for $20 or less.
check out OdE here on you tube. I consider him the Kaweco King - he owns about 200 or more kaweco sports, and that's not including other kaweco pens. Kaweco actually sent him a prototype once. At any rate, he showed how to swap nibs on the perkeo - it's a #5 nib, but he did say that it's not one that can take constant removal and reinsertion, so you can swap the nib if you need to but don't overdo it. I've been considering the clear version if I can swap for a broader nib to use it with shimmer inks, but am unsure. It's mostly the clear feed on the clear version that got me considering it. I would rather have something I can take apart for thorough cleaning. Thanks for the review. Cheers
You're back?!? Slacker UA-cam JUST now told me. But YAY!!! WELCOME BACK!!!
😂🤣😭 yesss. It’s meeeeeeeee! ((Jazz hands))

I like the Perkeo, but for an inexpensive (cheap) pen, I prefer the Pilot Kakuno.

Nooooooo…snow??? 😩😭 whyyyyyyy….okay. I’m fine. It’s normal. 😂
@@ferociousnprettypens Because we live in CO where it sometimes snows in May! 🤣
I've got the Moleskine x Kaweco Perkeo (medium nib): a limited edition in red with a gold plated nib. I kinda love it actually ^^
Ooo la la. 🤓
Intriguing… Thanks!
No problem. Thanks for watching. 🤗

Oh my. That’s so much for that great info. I may have to try making a Kaweco Frankenpen because it’s be great to have a broader nib in there. 🤯
I think the Yurameku inks are supposed to look different on different papers. Thanks for this video.
You're so right! They are totally different on different papers.
