Hello everyone. Got another Galaxy A12 today. Well actually it's one I already replaced the screen on but it has a new issue. The lower microphone stopped working so I will be attempting to fix that issue. Watch and see how it goes. Any comments or questions leave them below. Enjoy!
Nice video, thanks! I just did it with my dad's phone as the mic was dead. It all went nice and smooth! By the way, don't say the tools provided are useless as they get destroyed after one single use... I would have used a knife otherwise, and we ALL know what happens when we do that, right? Uh, but yes, they do get destroyed after one single use -that was all I needed them for :)

Thanks for the Video. Need to repair 35 A12 for a Daycare Nursing service. They all have a problem with microfone 1. Somehow all devices now have the same problem. Gonna try to replace the charger unit to keep their costs as low as possible.

Did replacing the the PCB solve the issue of the phone's mic not working?
I have a similar problem in that the mic on my A12 seems to pick up sounds, but so faintly that the person I'm talking with can't hear me at all. But the phone works fine when I switch to speaker phone. I'm considering doing a PCB replacement like you showed in this video.
It's been several months since you published this video. I don't know if you check comments on older videos so I'm not sure of a response. But here's hoping.
Hello, where do you order your parts? I would like to swap board in mine.
I have an A12 and I suddenly have a microphone problem. Calls and voice recording is very muffled, but video recording is perfect. In this video you mention there are two mics??? I am stumped why video recording is crystal clear but phone is all muffled and I can't be heard unless I practically yell into the mic directly. Thanks!
It's probably the microphone at the bottom of the device. That should be attachted to the daughter board like in the video. I would try replacing that one first.

I guess that it's not necessary to remove the top portion if only changing the mic/ charge port.
Whats the cost of a new board and where do we order the board from?
In my country not worthed to do repair... thia mobile cost 70€ on market And board itself its like 40-60 :/

This not always helps.
These 12 Samsungs has issue from the main board where you have to run tiny wire down to mic especially when the olu second mic works only
