- I haven't had much time to make any new videos, however we had a long crushing season this year. We are starting a new campaign this winter and we decided to give some different crushing gear a try.
Jaw - Powerscreen R400X
Screen - Terex Finley 684 2 Deck
Cone - Terex Finley C1540
I’m retired after 43 years in sand and gravel, I was the plant operator, sure do miss it sometimes. That sound puts me at ease
Same here , started in sand and gravel went to hard rock quarry supporting asphalt and concrete companies, head of maintenance when I got done . The younger guys didn't know what I ment when I said a running plant was music to my ears!

Hello from south-america... In your experience, what is the best way to make sand?
I've just swapped from a 20 year stint of fixing plant to operating a wheeled loading shovel, best move ever I love it
I never work in quarry or Mining or Crushing. But I hooked to this "White Noise" of Earth Movers & Crushing.
I see piles of sand and gravel like this when we go to the industrial part of the Detroit river in our boat. Now I know how it’s processed! Thanks for sharing this video :)

Done this for many years, Thats the reason i wear Hearing Aids but back in the 70s 80s we did not have hearing protection tech. But i would not change it for the world, So many hours on the loader, Awesome

So far it seems good, we were running a Finley jaw earlier this summer which had nothing but problems and sadly caught fire and was replaced with the 400X seen in this video. I will post some videos from that operation maybe in a few months when I get around to processing the video. I will probably be posting quite a bit of videos from this operation over the next month as I will be close to the operation where I can run out and get some video.

No, its a few years old.
Is that a screen deck above the cone infeed?
Yeah it’s a pre screen, not in use in this operation cause it’s in a train of machines, but if you were loading straight into the cone crusher it can screen out the fine material, saves wear on the cone a bit.
