    Your videos make me feel less alone! Thank you so much for posting them. I’m currently struggling with and being treated for OCD and panic. It’s been hard, but watching your videos helps me realize that I’m neither the first nor the only one going through these things.I appreciate you and wish you well!

    Adding another comment , I am anxiety free after 3 years of hospital visits and calling 911 , keep fighting and God will set you free. You get that " oh snap " moment and you understand everything about yourself. You guys got this.

    I went through this. I thought I would never be able to eat normal again. Once you get anxiety under control this and all other anxiety symptoms go away.

      @@diviyachettri4215 taking a sip of water with each swallow will help you. Also remember your body will naturally push food to the back of your throat to automatically swallow. You will not choke to death on chewed food. If you do choke it will just be uncomfortable and or hurt. Managing you stress and anxiety is what actually gets rid of this problem.

      @@VrindavaniSharma What helped me a lot is knowing that as long as you chewed your food if you start choking you wont die you will cough it up. You choke from getting food suck in your throat. Do not be worried about this. It does go away and it is just very annoying!

    I struggled with SEVERE generalized anxiety for over 20 years, it was baaaaaaad. I didn't deal with this until the last few years and it is truly scary. I understand. I hope everyone figures out their way of getting over anxiety and panic. I only have anxiety now and it's nothing like it use to be. I have panic attacks very seldom and I'm so grateful. Again, plz never stop making these videos! 🤗

    Man, I thought this was just me! Ended up gettin an endoscopy just to be sure and they found nothing. I did almost choke a couple times. Wild. Never thought it could get as bad as it’s become. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Preciate your guts to make these vids. They help.

    Severe dysphagia since 19. Childhood trauma and survivor of severe domestic abuse. I'm finding it a bit easier to eat alone these days but I still can't eat with other people, or if I'm feeling tense. I don't really know how to overcome it. Thank you for sharing this, it's been a very lonely thing to live with and I thought it was just me. It's so hard when so much of socialising involves food 😢

    I had something similar. I used to FORGET HOW to swallow. That was scary bc then I'd be afraid I'd choke. I had to distract myself when it was time to swallow. The more I THOUGHT about it, the more difficult it was. 🤦🏻‍♀️
    Kind of like looking at your feet when you walk down stairs. It's usually automatic, so watching my feet made me feel like I'd trip. Think of something else and no problem. Our mind/ body connection is weird.

    Thank you for sharing about phagophobia. I thought I was pretty alone. It started suddenly when my anxiety was very high. I lost a lot of weight in few weeks, it was very hard, I was so hungry. Still difficult to drink currently, liquids are the worst for me.

    I know exactly how you feel. I have been dealing with panic attacks, and seizures since 2018. They are horrible and I’m always afraid that I will have one of these while eating, and end up choking on my food. I just now subbed to your channel, and I’m glad that I found you.

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS :((( I’m sorry for the long caps but it’s a huge yes my god :( thank you ❤ I thought I was the only one thinking I’m choking when I eat and I knew it’s my anxiety I was having an anxiety attack and from that I started crying (and I was in a restaurant!!!) I really don’t wish anxiety/anxieties on anyone 😢I have CPTSD it’s your brain working over drive or it turn off you dissociates 😭sorry just expressing a thank you for this video ❤❤❤❤

    I had to go through this in the past, my parents though I had an eating disorder but reality was I wasn't able to swallow any meal. Fortunately this has never came back, even when I have to struggle with panic attacks. I don't know how you do to live with all that symptoms, I found anxiety so hard that I started with medication and now I'm far better.

    I experienced this a number of years ago. It was terrible and caused me to lose a lot of weight at the time. I did the dsme thing as tou as well as telling myself, until I believed it, that eating is a fun activity and an enjoyable one.

    I had my first panic attack back in septembar while at a restaurant mid meal and I thought I was having an allergic reaction. And I struggle now eating food even though I've been allergy tested and no I am not allergic to anything. I just still have that association between panic and food

    ive had food anxiety since i was a child and would avoid certain foods because of fear of choking and i would not eat for weeks and i started turning pale and would only eat certain foods like chocolate and drink milk and even now as an adult i still have food anxiety but not as severe as back then but i still avoid certain foods now because of textures but i can eat now slowly as to not eat at all

    I struggled with it for 3 years. I spent tons of money on “ensure” which is like a meal on a can on a liquid form. I was only skin bones and hair, no one noticed I stopped eating. :/

    I get really bad when eating in public, not always but I get so self conscious
    Especially the last job I temporarily had during the training period I would just get so anxious about how loud I was eating 🥣 and would prefer to sit alone
    It’s irrational but weird

    I have cmd which causes pain and discomfort while eating some kinds of food. It literally made me from foodlover to being afraid of food in general. It seems like a hard work for me to eat a good meal. Somedays it‘s worse. Beside that I got other things I am afraid of and it gave me migraines.

    Thought something was wrong with me yesterday was having chest pain and went to the hospital they did an ekg and blood work and a chest x ray said everything is fine

    Hey dude, please watch two german videos. That were the solution to my phagophobia. You can translate them with subtitel theire called: Wieso Krokodile keine Schluckangst haben & the oder one: Schluckangst - Neue Erkenntnisse.
    These helped me to understand the couse of the muscle tention and how to handle ist properly

    Do you get panic attack when you do something new ? As in last week I went to a saloon and did a treatment for my face involving face mask and when the face mask covered my entire face I started panicking and I wanted to remove it immediately also just now when I got new teeth implants I wanted to remove them and throw. Do others feel this ?

    I wrote it in german bc my english is really bad:
    Ich verfolge deine Videos seit längerem und bin wirklich sehr begeistert, dass du dich den Herausforderungen stellst, auch wenn es dir sehr schwer fällt. Mein Respekt! Ich bin noch nicht erwachsen aber habe in den letzten 3 Jahren mindestens 30 Panikattacken (zurzeit mind. 1 Mal im Monat) und deshalb kann ich dich zum Teil auch nachvollziehen. Jedoch habe ich nicht allzu starke Symptome. Seit ich diese Panikattacken habe, bin ich viel lässiger, entspannter und optimistischer. Und dieses Mindset hilft mir sehr. Vielleicht hilft es dir auch. Ich finde es wirklich krass, wie viel du durchgemacht hast aber ich glaube an dich, du wirst deine Panikstörung irgendwann noch überwältigen💪❤

      @@joseolvera9287 if it's really bad I used to drink a sip of water every bite, so I could swallow it easier and still get my meals in.
      But in general try to work on your anxiety.
      Making smoothies is also very good, you get alot of vitamins in your system and it's easy to swallow.

      for me it was just important to get my food in.
      working on your anxiety is important too.
      and smoothies, with spinach and fruits is a great way to get vitamins and minerals in.
