Kyle Liddell There are some good intro lessons from JapanSocietyNYC. The ones with the older teacher are the best. There's also a really good series of 40 half hour lessons from NHK. They were made in the 80's, and they're comical, but I learned alot from them. Both here on UA-cam. Good luck! :)
Kyle Liddell I have a channel for my non-Japanese viewers where I introduce Japanese culture, etc. and I plan to start doing lessons on there :) ua-cam.com/users/japanagos
I love Free People! Thanks, Chika, for another amazing video. The subtitles at the bottom REALLY help with my learning/ understanding of the Japanese words. :D
I love Omotesando! I went there last summer and passed by that popcorn shop and there was a mile long queue all the way down the street! Same for the one near Harajuku station and a french bakery in another place (forgot where). In Tokyo theres loooong lines everywhere, i was quite surprised!
We met in Seattle and got married one and a half year ago. So we miss Seattle and really love your Seattle video. I wish I could hang out with you.
Oh my god Chika, thank you so much for this video, it brings so many lovely memories to me (i went to Japan with my husband on our honeymoon, two years ago)! I loved Omotesando! Anyway, how are you able to eat plate like this size in the video?? It is impossible!! I think that i only eat a quarter of that at lunch time :D
Chika, I use your videos occasionally in my uni classes here in Shizuoka. It would be great if you could ever go up to Canada, and do a video from Vancouver or Victoria. Many of my students are interested in Canada and The US but don't know much about the differences and similarities between the two. Cheers, and keep up the great work.
That burger looked so good! Damn now I'm hungry. You should have worn the Magnolia Bakery colors that day. Haruhi and Miki were. You're right, when you're with a bunch of women they never shut....I mean all they do is talk.
Probably a stupid question, since I'm a guy, but why do women endure lines so much just for ..sweets? I get that preferences take part in here strongly, and if what you want is in this particular bakery, I kind of understand, but still its kind of ridiculous to wait that long for baked goods ..maybe its just me, but in comparison the only time I've waited in a long lines was in a store's grand opening to be part of the 100-200 first customers, that and dreadful Black Friday lines...
"Free People?" Never heard of it in California. Must be a Washington thing like Fred Meyers or Piggly Wiggly's. It could also be that I'm a guy that hates shopping.
Might be state selected, I live in Texas, and I've only seen one store in a Mall of the that name, never checked it out though since its a clothing store.
I have to say this, I think in the next decade Japan will start facing an obesity problem. Opening up to western style "specially American" will change their eating habits and portions and start consuming huge amount of fat and sugar they normally wouldn't. In my country we had no obese people until fast food and American restaurants started opening here. In fact in the past a chubby girl is a mark of beauty "that's how rare it was". And now we are in the top ten obese country and the stomach stabeling and by-pass surgeries are becoming very popular.
So...um...that cheeseburger was sexually attractive... Your friends sandwich too..omg... I can see why theres a lot of foreigners there too. The servings were huge. Did any of you finish your meals? And i will be going to all of these places.....for reasons.....
Correction: Tokyo Plaza → Tokyu Plaza
Have you ever considered teaching Japanese? I really want to learn and can't really find anything that helps!

You girls looked cute! I also enjoyed the video. Now I wanna go to that place! T-T

I don't think they have Free People in all of the states but they have it in Ohio. It is related to Urban Outfitter if you have that.
