Boy, does this bring back a disappointing memory. I grew up watching HR Pufnstuf and decided to start collecting those Funko Pops. Jimmy, the main character of the show (and the last Pop I needed) was then suddenly announced…but only as an “exclusive limited edition” NFT with about 1,000 steps to complete before purchase🙄 Great video👍🏼

If you have a droppp account, after the initial sale of packs, you can outright buy the physical collectables on their own marketplace. So it’s not a chance, you just have to play the ‘stock market’ (much more simple than it sounds) and buy at a price you’d be okay paying. Sometimes they’re like 20$ and other times they’re $100+ (normally only the grails)
NFTs have no basis in tangible things. Crypto actually has a basis in something tangible. Also, NFTs are more like rentals. Contracts are often convoluted and easy to break.
