See, people are complaining that Minecraft has “lost its taste” and “has no more originality”, when in reality they’re just not playing the game how it’s meant to be played! This is how Minecraft was meant to be played. Keep up get great work, and again, congrats on 10k!
It is a games platform so Minecraft can really do anything, but this series help to reground how you see survival and your own goals. (Even though a house is still unrealistic for me with how much I play and what I want to do)

the idea of having an expandable base is just so genius, i'm absolutely loving seeing your world develop!! also just a suggestion, maybe there could be a little church on top of the hill behind the cemetery? and maybe a small mausoleum right next to the cemetery :D
can i just say thank you-- and i actually mean it. School has been absolute hell for me, because my school is utterly competitive and everyone looks hot and smart and its annoying. It's just that the slow paced calm tone of your videos makes me feel so much better, and I really hope you understand how much you impact all of us. Sure we support you, but you support us as well and I hope you know that.
I've been having so much fun in my own survival world! Taking things slow, focusing on exploring a little and building up my base. I found some weird world gen with an exposed stronghold, but Imma leave that for the future. For now I gotta plant my crops, corral some cows, and mine for iron. No rush at all though, cause it's fun to plan ahead a little and mess around a lot 😁
Soupsoup! I have a detail idea for you for the kitchen, you can make the towel (banner) a different color and pattern! The best one is white and cyan stripes, give it a try if you like ❤
You can put the buried item under the tomvs in a pot (archaeology) , instead of chests. I think thatll be a lil more unique. Maybe add a design to the pot related to how you died. Also , i thought we could edit signs now?
just wanted to say that this idea of a series has blossomed into such a wonderful lets play and i hope it continues to show the beauty of playing minecraft at this slow pace and helps people appreciate the game for it's simplicity and not for something to just speedrun :)
great video! I love your builds very much. Update on my world: since I finished the project i’ve been working on for school, I had more time to play, so I did a bunch of exploring :) I found a cherry biome and brought home some saplings. I love to build with cherry wood, so I decided to build a big house, I also transported some villagers from the nearest village, so now my cherry wood house functions as a trading hall :) I thought this is much nicer than trapping them in little cells! I am working on making a nice garden for them too, I just made a little waterfall with lily pads, and decorated the area with cherry trees and flowers :) Edit: I think they also thanked me for making a humane training hall lol. I placed 2 lecterns, no rerolling, my two librarians gave me Mending for 32 emeralds and Fortune III for 20 :)
I love so much your vibe in these playthroughs! Like taling to HorseHorse, the give all gold and diamonds to Gill gag, just playing little jokes all around that make the video fun and enjoyable and also make the elements in your world feel more alive, like you're actually building a story here. This has quickly turned into my favorite Minecraft series, I missed this style of laid back relaxing gameplay so much!!!
Just a suggestion about the soup bowl monument: you can replace the full blocks on the farthest edges of the bowl with trapdoors and the bowl will look more rounded :’) congrats on 10k!!!
I love how the kitchen turned out. This is quickly becoming my favourite series on youtube. By the way, if you wanted to mix up the material on your kitchen island, you could use spruce signs or trapdoors to give it a wooden border whilst keeping the diorite countertop (just like in real life!).
Man, what you've been doing is absolutely fantastic. This style of playing minecraft hasn't been remembered since the good old days, and you're inspiring all of us to relax and play this way again after a decade. You inspired me to create a new calm world myself and or the past week I've been playing with my friend and it's incredible. We have so much nostalgia and we're taking everything off our shoulders. Thank you so much for everything.
This is such a comfortable, lovely series. Thank you so much for doing this; it’s a wonderful way to unwind and take it easy, even if for just a little while.
I just watched all your videos in one day and I enjoyed this series a lot, and I want you to continue it. This series has brought me more enthusiasm to complete my projects in my survival world The thing that I liked very much is that the montage is very simple and you just want to make a history of this world
This is by FAR my new favourite series, been watching since less then 200 subs and its crazy to see how much you’ve exploded and im sure im not alone in saying that im very excited everytime a new episode is released
I love how chill this series is. I hadn’t played minecraft in years because of burnout but this series inspired me to get back in and enjoy the game ( even though hearing the sound of mobs next to my mineshaft gives me heart palpitations lol)
Soup I’m so glad you started this series been subscribed since episode 1 and it’s my fav series ever. Thank you for remind us all how enjoyable this game was you’ve made so many peoples day by making these videos ❤
The base is just looking cooler and cooler!!! I think it would be cool if you made the enchanting space a little more grand with some extra bookshelves, carpet etc. Nothing crazy, but I like to make my enchanting rooms feel especially magical.
Thanks!! And yeah, I definitely want to make a dedicated enchanting space in the future. I’ve got some plans, but it might take a few more episodes to get to them!
Build Idea: Turn the basement of the kitchen into a big stable for HorseHorse and any other horses or donkeys or mules you find. And personally, I think the double name thing is actually pretty cool and adds another layer of uniqueness to the world as I haven't seen another creator do that before!
soul lanterns would be cool in your attic it's like they've been dimming over time and you forgot to change them out for new ones I think it would fit with the cobwebs more
I have watched episode 5, and before watching the rest I have 2 suggestions: 1) to name the axolotl you can just use an anvil on the bucket with it inside. You won't waste a nametag. 2) noteblocks make a different sound based on the block under them. If you choose the right one, you can make an even better doorbell.
goshhhh the kitchen looks SO COZY!!! I love it so much!! I also love to just admire Minecraft sometimes. Just walking around my world, swimming in the oceans, vibing near my builds. That's one of my biggest joys in the game :)
Bit of a weird idea but one of my favorite thing to do is to make a man made island and putting a light house on that said island. Just an idea me and my friends did
I really love your series so far. I've had the idea of making a graveyard for all of my deaths before, but I think I die quite a lot and didn't want my whole world taken over by it, lol. Instead, I have a written book with an "obituary" for each death, just a short sentence saying what happened when I died. With my survival world, I'm also focusing on the journey instead of the destination. I still only have iron tools after 80 hours of playing, and I have no plan on killing the ender dragon anytime soon. My favorite thing to do in my world is to ride my horse around and look at every place where I plan on building someday. Keep making these amazing videos!
I wanted to ask what you think some of your plans might be for the future of this world, like will you ever build like some beautiful mega base are just stick with the normal cozy little house that you have right now? Cause i do really like the idea of a cozy little house and you might not want to but at some point in the future i think going outside the comfort zone and building something massively beautiful would be really kool

Suggestion: Try writing recipes in the cookbooks! I always try doing this in my worlds. Since you got multiple ones, maybe you can make recipes for different types of foods! One for soups and stews, one for bread and pastries, one for cooking fish and meat and maybe even exotic foods like corus fruit or golden apples!
If you put moss carpet and green carpet on top of the soup you can give it a bit of depth. It'll look like bigger bubbles! Also I really like the sloped roof, if it was the same roof on all three buildings it might become monotonous.
Heres an idea for future monuments: build a hall of fame nearby you base to store your trophies! Someday, you can look back at your monuments and be proud of the amazing work youve done. For the theme, i think greek inspired would be cool.
