Haha thanks mate, appreciate the support. One day maybe! It’s free to everyone everywhere on UA-cam so I suppose that’s one good thing. Cheers for watching🤙
Yea sorry about that, we’ve been enjoying the summer without having to do any editing but don’t worry I’m back behind the computer again now so I’ll do my best to keep them coming out fairly regularly.
Well done guys I did not realize you are all left handed bowyers like myself congrats on your first 3 targets goat, hare and deer and the big fella scores the big buck at first I thought you had missed it till I saw the blood on the ground. Good to see you all again and looking forward to more hunts you go on stay safe.
Thanks mate, yea Noahs left eye is his strong eye and he was the one that bought the bow. We can’t afford 3 bows so it looks like we are all going to be left handed bow hunters😂
@@clarkeboyshunting Far dinkum that is a cracker you all going to be left handers bwahahahahahahahaaa. I think you guys have got your eyes in on it from what I have seen so I don't foresee any problems adjusting lol.
Yea it’s ok for Noah and Harry because they are identical twins but I’m a bit taller. It seems to be ok for me and a lot cheaper than buying one myself😂
You could always have a look at the Bolar Triangle UA-cam channel... Nathan does bow hunting for deer, and gets quite a few... He used to be on Big Angry Fish with Milan ... He knows his stuff...
gr8 effort. wot ive found haveing dabbled with the bow long time ago it was short lived back to the rifle many yrs later a new compound bow lots of reading and ytube and practice i could do a matchbox group at 20mtr finger release. wot i found was there was a big difference in the way ya stalked and used cover as such. to get into your shootable range. wind i had to pay alot more attention to that than with the rifle it was a gr8 learning curve after many yrs of hunting with a rifle. it sure as hell put the rush back into it. a couple of usefull bits to learn is how and arrow kills get some shooting form not learnt ovrnight lol. go find bunnies hares goats. go forth and have a blast with a new way of hunting
Yes, it’s definitely hard trying to do both. I think one or the other would be better. It’s amazing how hard it is to close that final 20m with the swirling wind!
@@clarkeboyshunting yes one or the other was made even harder when trying to use video cam and bow hunt by ya self lol. wot i found was i paid alot more attention to how the main wind worked when it hit gullys that where not in line as such with the wind direction. wot i did notice at home with some swirling eg easterly traveling up main gullys and cutting into side guts traveling up them only to collide with the easterly coming over the top and create this swirling tumbling effect which at home and this band can be as deep as round 100mtr. and ya pretty much screwed lol b4 ya start if they are in this tumbling swirling band as such. wot helped me was some fog with the easterly to see the colliding affect and it was always at about the same height
grab a hold of that release fellas, cant be waving it around on a balance as yas do in the first few shots, use your hand around the release aid and finger behind the trigger to ensure the release trigger cant unclip from the d loop, an use ya trigger finger to touch off . other than that,,,, enjoy the bow journey! its a difficult one to say the least :) hope that makes sense, otherwise plenty of youtube clips around to see how to properly use the release aid, safely. :)
Good to know. Showing how amateur we are haha. Definitely fun to learn something new. But quite frustrating at times when you are used to knocking them over with the rifle at 400m. Definitely more in the deers favour with the bow.
What bullets are you using in the 300 boys? The shot sounded solid but the deer didn’t seem too affected by it, nothing worse than seeing them run off hey,
We were using Sako hammerhead 180gr but the shot was too much in the middle. Yea sucks not getting a clean kill. Not a very restful nights sleep that night but glad I found it
@@clarkeboyshunting yeah shit happens in hunting situations mate, glad you found it 👍🏼 and you better get used to it lol that bow is going to cause you a lot more restless nights than the rifle.
We are all right handers but Noah’s strong eye is his left eye so he got set up with a left hand bow. So it looks like we are all gonna be left hand now shooters now😂
It backs onto a big bush block that the deer feed out of. It’s a cool spot. The right time of year when the grass is good makes it pretty easy but there are times it can be a bit more tricky especially using the bow. Definitely nothing like the DOC land hunting. This is our pre season😂 thanks for watching🤙
Ya need a bow each. Surely ya not all 3 left eye dominant to be shooting left hand? And the draw lengths were way of. Each person is so different ya need a setup to suit the individual
Yea the twins are ok but I’m a bit taller so it’s probably not we’ll suited for me but at $4k I’m not gonna buy my own one right now. See how we go with this one for a while and if it’s we catch the big then maybe
After many years watching you boys grow into very capable hunters I've watched every single film. I find it very disappointing that your flat out running a thermal and cheating. Very dis tasteful. Not sure if I will continue now. I guess one positive is your honest about using it and not trying to hide it.
Yea each to their own. They are interesting to use and you can only use them on private land. Everyone has their own limits with technology e.g. bow vs rifle, open sights vs scope etc etc. we find it all interesting to try and use different methods depending on the situation.
Great video guys. The mullets coming on a treat Harry!
Yea it’s fully feral now😂 thanks mate
For a bunch of bush smoothies I reckn this shud be on tv it's so much beta than all the bullshit hunting on Maori channel. Keep it up boys

Good to see you guys out and about again.
Thanks, yea it has been a while between videos. We’ve had a summer off editing but are back into it now so stay tuned👍
Good to see a new video. Feels like its been a very long time.always happy to see your videos again.

Yea he’s too busy on his digger at the moment but hopefully get some vids going with him over the roar
Great video guys looking to see what adventures you get up with the hopefully some good reds and maybe some Pigs.
Thanks mate, yea we’ve got some big trips planned so hopefully we have some success to make some exciting videos.
Bust the bow out on opening weekend? Nice work lads
Haha that would be classic. Have you seen those videos of that guy shooting ducks with the bow. Crazy! Be pretty expensive for us😂
