This is a serious threat for any content creator because you only get 3 of this type of strike then your channel is gone. Ren has spent months trying to deal with this in good faith, and Kujo and his girlfriend (who went as far to falsify then publicise contracts) have done nothing but stir sh*t and demand far more for something Ren doesn't owe anything for. Apparently the people in white represent the Bulgarian choir and they die at the end because without their sample the song Sick Boi is dead (I read this from someone else's comment). He's had some great long interviews with a few reactors just search for Ren interview and they will come up. He mentions his influences and as his music shows...influences come from nearly every genre.
Ren also gave him an offer for a 50/50 split of a creative opportunity (which would have given him a huge amount of money and smooth out things with his fan's. Ren's "Sick Boy" (which is a truly personal music masterpiece) being taken down is the true shame and is where the real hurt has come from. Greed is why this escalated and we all know what Ren thinks about greed and injustice.
The main thing with Kujo's gf was that she acted as there was some understanding going on in private messages and next day she was posting some sh*t on Reddit stating false stufff so yeah.
At one point during that video when says that he actually offered to make a song with this guy and split everything 50/50 with the master which is a lot more money than what he actually may have had coming. And the point of if they made a song together it would get all of runs fans to stop hating the guy and actually start supporting him. And the guy turned it down. Just one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen in my life. It was his actual opportunity to blow up and to actually make something more. And talk about perfect timing Brenna is blowing up big time over the last year. Why would you turn down working with the man making a song with him and actually owning 50% of the master which gives you a cut and anything and everything to do with that song.
Ren has a video explaining what happened with Sic Boi (the song) and why it's been taken down. Kujo did him dirty and he's due for everything that Ren is giving him right now.
TLDR? Kujo sold stolen stuff to REN and tried extort money from Ren while Ren had a unlimited license. Kujo is a guy who made a beat, but in that he stole samples from some1 else. He then sold that on a site with a unlimited license to Ren, who used it in his "Sick Boy" song. Kujo then got issue with the original owners biting him, and to extract money, he copyright striked Ren's video. Ren tried to resolve it by offering, but kujo got greedy and wanted like 50% or even 100% of the master. Ren could not agree to that (the beat was adjusted and fully worked upon by Ren, and Kujo had done nothing to warrant that much.) So Ren decided to pull "Sick Boy" from all platforms, announced that he'd re-record it, cutting out Kujo completely on the new. He has a full video with much more details and such on it from last week.

Sick boi was on repeat when i first started therapy. Ren helped me feel less shame and i feel understood when I listen.

At one point during that video when says that he actually offered to make a song with this guy and split everything 50/50 with the master which is a lot more money than what he actually may have had coming. And the point of if they made a song together it would get all of runs fans to stop hating the guy and actually start supporting him. And the guy turned it down. Just one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen in my life. It was his actual opportunity to blow up and to actually make something more. And talk about perfect timing Brenna is blowing up big time over the last year. Why would you turn down working with the man making a song with him and actually owning 50% of the master which gives you a cut and anything and everything to do with that song.

TLDR? Kujo sold stolen stuff to REN and tried extort money from Ren while Ren had a unlimited license.
Kujo is a guy who made a beat, but in that he stole samples from some1 else. He then sold that on a site with a unlimited license to Ren, who used it in his "Sick Boy" song. Kujo then got issue with the original owners biting him, and to extract money, he copyright striked Ren's video. Ren tried to resolve it by offering, but kujo got greedy and wanted like 50% or even 100% of the master. Ren could not agree to that (the beat was adjusted and fully worked upon by Ren, and Kujo had done nothing to warrant that much.) So Ren decided to pull "Sick Boy" from all platforms, announced that he'd re-record it, cutting out Kujo completely on the new. He has a full video with much more details and such on it from last week.
The beef he had a while back was with King Dotta.. he referenced him in the song.
