A lot of extra work was done that was actually unnecessary. Use the pages of the book, add the printed pages to it which can be done in a few different ways; by removing a few pages by cutting them out and then adding your printed pages in, or by attaching the printed pages to the pages directly in the book. Use tacky glue that dries clear to seal the edges of the book, below the pages you want to be able to flip thru then paint the edges of the book.
Just a thought I had. You could use the book as a box if you don't glue the cardboard in completely shut. A second thought you can use the old pages of the book and carve a rectangular shape out of the middle of the pages and use that as a box. You just glue the pages together and that's it. I think that might look better when you use the real book pages instead of using the printed version and glueing it on the cardboard. But nonetheless the book you made looks really nice! :)
Some of this is really cool but also really complicated, do you think you could try some easier but also amazing things so we don’t mess up or totally fail? Thanks
I need these pages and cannot find what you used on Google. I'm going to be making this book and linking back to you. Where can I find it please? I know WB took it down but thinking it has to exist somewhere. I've been binge watching your channel and follow you on Instagram and Twitter.
DON'T rip the pages out. ripping the pages out is just so much extra work and takes away from the over all look. Mix some paint together, dilute it slightly with water, and paint the outside of the pages to get an aged look. Then you can just stick the printed pages on the actual pages and it'll make the book look functional.
What about the tongue? Also, I used a dictionary which had alphabet cutaway page markers along the side. What you're suggesting would work with other books though.
Oh My Goodness! This is absolutely fabulous! I love all your tutorials and share every chance I get. Great job and keep making magick!
Love your channel!- could you do a moving timeturner if you haven't al ready. It's my all time favourite prop from the books/films⚡

its hard for me to enter the give away but i try to do them but i still dont win :(
Question: instead of dismembering an actual book, could this be adapted to work with the paper mache book-shaped boxes I've seen in craft stores?
Yes, you can! You could even just create your own cover out of thick cardboard!
And me who was thinking wow this book will be heavy as fuck 😂😂 but that's better now 😍
Why didnt you just paint the original pages with coffee stain?
Because they had the alphabetical page markers down the side, since it was a dictionary.
How do you get the chance to win
