Meet Hamilton, our newest Bald Eagle patient

Yesterday the Alaska Raptor Center received a call about a juvenile Bald Eagle trapped under a floating dock here in Sitka Alaska. Our Avian Care specialists, with help from the Harbor Master, removed some planks to free the bird. We named him Hamilton since he was rescued on the 4th of July. After a check-up, Hamilton is now resting in our quarantine wing. Once he tests negative for HPIA, he will be moved to our Bald Eagle Training Flight Center. #baldeaglerescue #wildliferehab #animalrescue
