Why do most NFL fans on here have to make classless comments? Coming from a bears fan that was a hard fought game. Nobody expected us to be even close and it came down to the last play.

Considering that they had a game like this with this exact scenario last year, too...I don't think it'd have made a difference. May have been a game changer, but I think the Falcons would have answered back.

Cohen was impressive
they have to fix that defense. It's going to cost us some games this season. Gave up far too many big plays. I can't tell if it was Fangio or just the players but that Hooper catch in unacceptable. Both of them. Each time he was uncovered. The BIG TD they went with base defense against the Falcons empty backfield: Their OLB/DE against their speedsters.
Then they gave up big plays after losses. They sacked Ryan and promptly gave up a 25 yard pass play. They get a 1st and 20 and two players later give up a first down the next play a TD. It's mind-boggling.

Atlanta fans were predicting they'd win this game by 15+ points... bears played well but Atlanta defense pulled through when it counted. Really enjoyable close game actually, props to both teams

Georgia Peach lol I don't hate the Falcons. I live in Atlanta. I went to 2 games last year. I just thought it was funny since he the first person was talking about the Falcons and the ratio was 28-3. You need to get over it. If you get triggered by every 28-3 comment you are falling into the troll's trap. It's always fun to laugh at yourself so don't be so mad the Falcons blew the lead, laugh off the comments and just be excited for the future.
Well the '77 season the Falcons had the best defense in NFL history teams averaged 9 PPG on them and they went 8-8 so they're probably scarred by low scoring games

From a Falcons fan, great game by the Bears. Glennon has always been tough on the Falcons. He's a good quarterback. Your running backs and defense is awesome. Must be frustrating to see those dropped passes in the final seconds. Hard-fought game by both teams. Sad that only one team can win.

1.)Last drive. Clearly the replay showed that Falcons LB tipped the ball away from Cohen . It was not dropped. #PROPSFALCONS
2.) Jordan Howard was getting popped all day, so of course he was looking at the LB and not the ball when he dropped it. #PROPSFALCONS
3.) Falcons D rush forced Glennon to throw to Miller a tad early. #PROPSFALCONS

This isn't Mike Smith's Pansies we played today. I really thought the Bears were gonna plow over them. As an educated person, I am aware that the Bears were 3-13 last year because of 19 players on IR, and WR's dropfest. I know the Bears are good. Matt Ryan was a straight up man (as was Glennon ....for the most Part)...but Falcons defense is fasssst. Boy Are the Packers gonna get their ass kicked next week. Rise Up and light them up!!!

I'm actually a Patriots fan and remember that game real well, so yeah. But seriously, Chicago was a heavy underdog with nearly no one picking them to win today, and kept it close all game, was the last to get the ball and go all the way to a goal and go situation then all of a sudden became the Bears we thought they'd be all game with 4 horrid plays.

What you dont know is that the bears have a winning formula. They have a run game, plus a very good defense. Their front 7 is excellent and they showed it today. Their secondary, however, has flashes but overall is not very good. This game went the way i thought it would go. It was a tight game, but the bears dont have the talent on offense to overcome major set backs. Their defense always gives them a shot, but their margin for error is really small.
Also the bears did not keep it close all game. They were down 20-10 in the 4th with 11 minutes left, then the OC finally decided to keep a shotgun passing game on and scored a td, next possession falcons a fg, final possession they drove down the field converting on a 4th and 3 at one point then the final 4 games went like this. incompletion, drop, drop, sack. gg
