Noise test comparison of MixPre 6II, Zoom F3, and Sony PCM M10 with Clippy EM 272. for me mixpre wins... but sony is so good, especially when considering the portability, battery consumption, and the advantage of the internal microphones. Additionally, most people think the Sony is an old smartphone and don’t constantly talk you and ask what you doing here.

mixpre wins, but most of the noise is the EM272s, not the pre-amps.
