- In a nation where traditions are held sacred and kingship is a carefully crafted process His Majesty King Mswati III was destined from birth to ascend the throne.
He became King at the age of 18 and has reigned for close to three decades.
But as a ruler to modern times he faces a world ignorant of the Swazi traditions that he is duty bound to sustain and it is with patience that he continues to reign, the only absolute monarch in Africa who rules his country with a firm hand.
We salute his transformational leadership aimed at lifting the Kingdom of Swaziland to new heights of economic competitiveness through the empowerment of its youths so they may be the driving force of the economic change that has been planned within the Kingdom's Vision 2022.
His Majesty King Mswati III was conferred the Honorary Doctorate of Human Capital Development on 4 July 2013 at the Hall of Fame, Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
