I'm from South Africa and have mostly travelled the "Lowlands" route many times from my coastal city of Durban through Lavumisa, past Hlane,( stayed there once) and then onto Kruger Park. It is a very scenic country. I must admit the "highlands" is even more scenic though. Thanks for showing this part. By the way your wife sounds South African.

I couldn't help but notice that you were driving a Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitata, it's manufactured in India. I heard Indian brands have captured African automobile sector because they are relatively a bit expensive but outperform Chinese vehicles. While Japanese vehicles are good, they are expensive. I don't know if that is true.
