- In this video I was honored to be able to interview my father and not only get an in depth look at his 1993 Lexus SC400 Twin Turbo, but to also speak with him about the grueling yet extraordinary and inspirational journey it’s been for the past 15 years. This is Part 1 of 2. I hope you all enjoy.

Men who are alive today that were born anywhere from whenever before, up until the 90's, would understand the importance of men who think and act like this man does... We were raised with discipline... Everything changed soon as the Internet and PC's in every home became a thing... The new generation sadly would never know what life once was before all of this... We had a great appreciation for things and loved differently
Oh yea. I remember building a turbo eagle talon tsi in the 90s. Purchase in 96 and was a 94. Me and my friends had to figure out how to modify. Low and behold and many trips to the junk yard we fabricated a 350whp car with a front mount intercooler from a starion and a lot of other parts we made. It was insane because no one had built cars unless they had a shop. We were the youth that cared about what we had.

This is literally the most beautiful Lexus SC I have ever seen in my life. Gorgeous car, great build and attention to detail. Simply amazing.
Ppl dont build cars like this anymore they just slap some over fenders on super wide wheels with the smallest tire. And some bags and think its built
rendell stewart yep, that’s true...I always wanted to build this car the way I thought the factory should have. That’s why my extreme attention to detail.
It's bad to build cars like this in nazi smog Cali. They have smog check points here randomly just like DUI check points. It sucks and totally kills the fun unless it CARB legal.

When you look at your competition and your ok with 2nd place lol. Beautiful and well built. This car has it all. Look forward seeing you at shows and events and competing or "trying" to compete with you. Best SC400 on the planet.

I have a 92 SC400 that I’ve owned for 18 years now and she’s been in storage the past 3 years until 3 days ago, and after driving her I’m excited all over again. Always wanted to do a twin turbo. Great job on the car man!

He has some AMAZING OLD SCHOOL PPI black ice amps!!!!!!!! Powerful early 2000s era amps, components, and speakers. Amazing audio components. I wonder what it sounds like.

Ryan Allen wow. Wish I couldve heard it. I'm collecting an entire PPI Black Ice Series system to install in a 99 sc400. I have a set of PPi Black Ice 1800.1 amps, 2 Black Ice 520.4 , and 2 340.2 amps. I'm waiting on the 3 way components [2 sets] and the subs (3) just to do a little era specific setup. I'm going TRY to do more of an SQL setup. Im decent at taking mundane or random audio shit and tuning it so it doesnt sound like complete shit and plays within the limits of the weakest link.

Montaser Abduljalil there are a couple of threads on the build. There is Stage 1 and Stage 2. In Stage 1, I built the more simple, stock engine and stock transmission version. It’s a long detailed build thread, and in Stage 2, I show the engine build as well as the revised turbo set up and all the rest of what made the car what it is today. Both are long threads. I use to work for AAA in Orlando and I believe I towed that car from the body shop when it was first painted, the coolest looking turbo setup imaginable!

Very beautiful build. I been on the fence between super charger, turbo, and twin turbo. A true inspiration to get the most out of my stick swap sc400. Thanks for the video.
For those that are awaiting part 2, the drive, I just want you all to know that the fuel system is practically completed, with the Injector Dynamics 1750’s, 3 in-tank Aeromotive LP340 fuel pumps, removal of OEM fuel lines, addition of Stainless hard line, larger return line, Weldon fuel filters, removal and reinstall of the rear subframe, installation of FIGs bushings in key stability and tracking areas of the rear, new control arms for the rear by Megan, and Phase2 MotorTrend, and prep for new tune. Tuner will fly down from Jersey and tune.
We need an LS400 counterpart build to this one.

Jeremy Bivins has a kit he made that is just about done. Hes a built vvti 1uz and should yield promising outcome. Hes the closest thing the LS400 community has to a fast LS400 that actually looks good. Don't be fooled by talk. Jeremy isnt talk he is doing it.
Very nice SC. I've owned a 300 and a 400. I love these cars. Lexus quality is unmatched.
I can't wait till I get my sc... This car is a work of Sc art, I'd have to rate this as one of the top builds of an Sc I've ever seen. Form and function don't get much better that that.

This is beautifully built, you must be very proud. Im running a supercharged 1uz in a mk4 supra and they are phenomenal engines. I also had to deal with assholes promising me things they could not deliver on but took my money anyway. Best of luck with it all, peace out 👍✌

i got a 1994 ford thunder bird with a V8 in it... i am thinking of doing the same thing.
Cool car! If I'm right I think it was either the v8 thunder bird or the sc thunder bird Ford made faster than the mustang at that time!
That is one gorgeous car. I want to do those headlights combined with the LED fogs I recently found online (can't remember who made them). Just don't know if those will look as good on my RSP versus on this black car. I could listen to him talk about this car all day long.

Just found this, liked and subscribed! I just bought my first Lexus and was looking around to find power options. Great info and advice. How much horsepower/torque is she rollin' and roughly what's the cost for something this awesome!?
He's not selling that but it would be over 60k most likely because the time he put into it the 20k over the original price when it first came out at that time because the work but on average 1k to 5k go to a private owner dealerships rips off.

I almost bought an SC400 in about '97. It had horrible shiny chrome wheels which I thought looked plastic (like on models). I much prefer the alloys you have.
