First it was the question of how Olives would come back after a tough and heartbreaking loss to Islam, then came his statementd that he didn't watch nor changed anything since that loss (what let's be real, scared the hell out of us), but we still could see that he was more focused than ever in this camp (saying less stuff to the media even), and then presented us a phenomenal performance. He didn't get dropped once, and fixed a lot of technical issues he presented in the fight against Islam, related to his head moviment and feet position. Since both Islam and Benny are southpaw, it's ideal march forward stepping outside their lead legs, to stay out of angle for powerful directs and hooks, but in the Islam fight Olives did the exact opposite. And now he fixed it against Benny. He even showed off his english for the first time ever hahaha I fucking loved Buskei's (the Brazilian translator) face when Olives finished his sentence. He was like "Imma probably lose my job soon, but I'm hella proud this boy" hahaha "English Speaking Oliveira" is my new favorite mythical fighter for real!! But memes aside, here in Brazil Charles is compared to Anderson Silva when the topic is "popularity". Olives literally brings happiness and hope to all the Brazilians everytime he accomplishes something new. Olives crying on the walkout was something heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time.
