- Having driven the new turbo-charged Tata Altroz Racer across various driving patterns, here is my verdict on the Hyundai i20 N Line rival. Is the Altroz finally a HOT hatchback? Can it be a thrilling drive? The updated Altroz iTurbo is now called the Racer and comes with the same engine that powers the Nexon petrol. This 1.2-litre unit churns out 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. Mated to a 6 speed gearbox, there is no option of an automatic Racer for now.
The drive experience started off from Coimbatore, crossing urban traffic, on to the fast moving highway and finally to a race track. Is the car worth the wait? Have a look! - Авто та транспорт

I20 Nline DCT was used in this Track, take a manual.. altroz will stand no chance.

@@Vishwajeet0723 Both the Polo GT and Nline are slower around this track as tested by Narain Karthikeyan. 1-1.5s slower. Narain also set the lap record for an Indian production car with the Altroz racer but I am not sure if it is for a hatchback or for all production cars because I would assume some of the sedans would be quicker.
@@gsrox2007 Nline was DCT which was used ,not the manual, not sure about Polo GT, but that too will smoke racer.
