Sorry for this bike yea it might not reach 200 without nitro and maybe a turbo if it fits here and larger ports and a bored cylinder and nice crank assembly maybe more it can get close to 190 IF it's set up right. I forgot it was about this bike I thought we were speaking about banshee's
Im in the proces of doing the same swap, found a complete Mito with no engine, now im looking around to see who can do the swap, not an easy task, because its not the usual swap, mainly people do the Rd350 and there are kits already to do them. Lets see where this take me. Cheers. 👌👌👌👌😏😏😏
Years ago I inherited something similar. An Aprilia RS50 with a worked KX250 engine it in. The vibration was ubsurd. We had the crankshaft balanced and fabricated a new cradle with custom made rubber bushings. It needed a bottle or loctite, a massive steering damper and liquid filled gauges to keep from shaking apart. 3 track days in it sheared the sprocket bolts right off the wheel. It ran like a beast, gave 600's a run for their money and carried insane corner speed. The next planned step was a KX500 engine and a wider wheel with crush drive. The bike's owner lost interest and sold the KX250 engine. I bought it as a rolling basket case with all the original parts with a clean title for $1500. Another $500 in TLC and it was as clean as original now 80cc with a the previous added shock and revalved forks. I throughly enjoyed riding it to work for 2 years with minor issies. Sold it for $2k. But that kx250 engine shook that bike to pieces.
I doubt there are any more videos of this as whoever made it/rode it probably died, but what a way to go :)

@NoNoNiin wanna see me do it again chin
@NoNoNiin im not being serious but for someone whos new to riding banshees, that's how fast it's gonna feel

That’s pb mags project mito with the cr500 in it, did it ever get “finished”? I remember they had severe vibration issues!
Yes. Engine was removed and rubber Bush mounts were made (basically metalastic bushes)

That's not a 500cc engine
Luca Felix really?
You have obviously never heard a CR500.
Omg...
@@fieldmarshaljoe yup
Actually it is. The bike was built by Performance Bikes Magazine.
pointless vid.... put a 750 kettle engine in it, now you talking :D none of you will know this iconic motor.
You've never ridden a CR500 have you ?
Anyone who has a slight bit of interest in 2 strokes knows what a kettle engine is , you're not special
