August 21st, 2017 -- For my 104th outing of this year, I decided to take on my subs' suggestions and head to the Playwicki Park in Langhorne, PA. It was my first time exploring that portion of the Neshaminy Creek, so I used the opportunity to do a little challenge/slam.

You need those paddle boards, just have to mod it so you can use a push stick to anchor the board , and they can go super shallow

That's a very tough spot to fish Leo! I'm glad you caught fish there because I usually have a difficult time there. I went here the day after you did and caught only a few.

New sub here. I live right by there and fish in Playwicki often. If you want to target creek smallies with ultra light tackle, I've had a lot of luck using red and yellow salty tubes on 1/16oz jig heads right in the area you were in. You'll still catch a million panfish, but you'll hook up a few nice smallies as well. Love the channel, hopefully I'll catch you at some of the local spots sometime. Fish on brother!

You should do a challenge where you catch way bigger fish on light tackle. I once did a challenge catching sturgon on 8lb line and a ultra light pole and caught 3 feet one and 4 ft and half sturgon weigh about 15 to 20 lbs it was awesome
At one of my shore fishing spots there are so many pumpkin seeds but very few bluegill and green sunfish
I always wondered if tiny plastics like that were worth there time I ultra light fish often or fly fish check out the glow in dark trout magnet. But I hooked nice 2.5 cat going for green sunfish during eclipse
Can you go to Sandy Run Middle School Creek in Dresher Pennsylvania and fish there and made a vid there?? I would enjoy that a lot because I fish there all the time! Hopefully you see this

You should come to seattle I have a pond that has some giant blue gills perch and pumpkin seed my biggest was 12 inches
You know it is kind of funny how people think you cannot catch big fish on extremely tiny lures when big bass, trout an panfish eat tiny bugs everyday that are much smaller than most micro lures.
I actually catch way more fish on tiny lures an i actually usually catch many more bass on them in a day then using bass crank baits an bass worms. One day I caught 10 bass in 12 minutes using a tiny fly an the bass we're 7+ inches couple we're 12 inches.
My biggest crappie ever was actually on one of my tinier lure I use it was a 16 inch crappie on a 1/200 oz jig with a berkly powerbait worm piece.
I don’t fish for catfish (I don’t have the heart to cut up fish for bait) but I caught my biggest one, a 6lb catfish, using a Berkeley 1” minnow lol

Largies and spots are getting increasingly harder to identify. Spots appear to be hybridizing with Spots. I am convinced that Largies and Spots may be from the same lineage of fish. They are close enough to eachother to be able to mate & produce viable offspring.
