I share in totality Ashwin's thinking and sentiment about TN players. I was so happy to see Sai and Vijay play so well. That Sai Kid was amazing in the final. I was also unhappy that the other Sai did not get to play even once. IMHO the match was lost because Nehra and Hardik (who was smiling before the 5th ball being bowled) unnecessarily tinkered with his mind and disrupted his momentum, though I am very happy they did it for I am a diehard fan.

I was quite surprised that CSK did not consider deploying, Mitchell Santner instead of Maheesh Theekshana. I thought Mitchell Santner was more economical, better fielder and can be handy with the bat. With Theekshana just the mystery spin was the positives and he went for runs as well and honestly fielding was pathetic. Your thoughts experts!
The reason they opted for Theekshana is because he can bowl in the power play. We don't have bowlers who can bowl in powerplay other than chahar and Thushar. Also Santner is very similar to Jadu so we will lack variety in bowling.

I felt Jaddu bhai was already upset because of fan Behaviour So Dhoni bhai already knew & guessed Jaddu bhai is important to this game so that the reason Dhoni bhai thought he should step in before Jaddu bhai because fan behavior should not affect Jaddu bhai performance just in case he has to bat. I was quite surprised that CSK did not consider deploying, Mitchell Santner instead of Maheesh Theekshana. I thought Mitchell Santner was more economical, better fielder and can be handy with the bat. With Theekshana just the mystery spin was the positives and he went for runs as well and honestly fielding was pathetic. Your thoughts experts!
The reason they opted for Theekshana is because he can bowl in the power play. We don't have bowlers who can bowl in powerplay other than chahar and Thushar.
Also Santner is very similar to Jadu so we will lack variety in bowling.
Theekshana and Deshpande are the two worst players, csk should drop them next season. They were affected by autism. They are not matured.
@@sreedesi Okay. in the expense of just to use Theekshana in power play for one over or as plan b if seamers go for a lot and no control during power play, May be I would think about Moeen Ali or Santner or even use Pathirana. Having said that Thala the think tank would have thought or had a superstition about it for sure, not to change a lot of things when wins were regular with Theekshana onboard. Remember last over he gave the ball to new entrant Joginder sharma in first WC T20 and it worked🙂

What are you thoughts on this - how about standardising the length of the boundaries in all stadiums across India, if possible can come up with a set of defined boundary size rule. This helps to standardise and also equal opportunity in tournaments like IPL, where RCB batsmen can be in the leading run scorer because their home group in Chinnaswamy with small dimensions for the boundaries.
IPL should give awards to bowlers also like most dot balls bowled in the season or more maidens bowled just like most sixes and fours awards
