Absolutely magic! ive only just heard about this band,so im currently on the hunt for more stuff to see and hear! this song reminds me very much of The Stiffs! i hope they dont let me down;-) cheers
I don't know how they did it but everyone on Revolver sounded like they do at a proper gig. Best TV music show ever. Check out Jam, Buzzcocks, Ian Dury and more also on Revolver on youtube.
Salutations everyone , autographs have just released a 17ntrack live album on detour records 3rd Nov 2023 Who would have thought? Red or black vinyl ❤🎵🎵🎵
This looks and sounds like an actual live performance (different from the single version) and the crowd are actually animated! A bit different from most music on British TV around that time.
Dave Spicer! Replaced Kevin Allen on bass in the Stukas when Chris Gent was brought in to replace original vocalist Paul Brown. The Stukas also featured Garry 'Raggy' Lewis - the crazy guitarist in red seen here. Can't remember what happened to the other two original Stukas (Smithers & Mackie), but Gent, Lewis & Spicer went on to form the Autographs. But then, I expect your dad already knows all that! Does he still play?
Superb!
I like this tune. I feel the sweat of passion in youth from this awesome tune.
Thank you very much for upload, and I'm sorry for my poor English.
I saw them at the Marquee back in the day. They were fantastic but their only legacy is this unforgettable power punk gem.
