I have an 830 that I had put 1800 hours on working the fields and only needed to adjust it a third of a turn or 2 cantillations in that time. Clutch didn,t get many cycles in a day though.
Thank you. My 1936 AO Tractor has no prevision to hold the 3 return springs in place just a flat surface on the inside. The pressure plate does have 3 bumps to help hold the top of the springs in place. Just curious, does your setup have 3 bumps inside there?? I have had the springs pope out on me. But having said that the splines on the crank are worn causing the clutch drive to turn a little bit. Paul Townsend Baker City, Eastern Oregon old John Deere Tractors everywhere you look. Did the belt pulley turn free after the adjustment.
