I had the exact same issues you have with our boys gator. We replaced the gearboxes for both wheels and the shifter worked properly without replacement. I will say for anyone who takes the shifter apart and is confused why you can’t get the pieces back together properly and the shifter in the right direction know that the white part does not fit into the shifter housing the way it seems it should. The rectangular part DOES sit on top of the part where it looks like there should be a screw put in!! It took me over an hour of me loosing my mind trying to figure it out!

What is the exact spec for the light . What kelvin color to use ?

My 70s pto calls for 10 weight non detergent. Edit: i went change the first reduction case oil snd it just kept running out. Found it was also draining the transmission oil. Any thoughts? Anyone?

Clutch! I took mine apart and saw the same scrape mentioned in that spot. Barely hit it with an angle grinder and took just enough off to leave 1/32" gap. Ty!

Interesting. My Dad said that the engine rocking after shutdown on our model 60 gasser was the sign of a healthy engine with good compression. Never had flywheel problems, although my Uncle's AR once did.

Never measure from the flywheel it’s too rough to get a good reading only use the ring gear learned that one the hard way and caused some frustration when trying to set it on a 630.

Is there a gasket that needs to be replaced on the first reduction gear fill cap?

I just bought my grandpas '59 730 es diesel. Im going to give it an oil change this coming weekend. Can i ask you to make a video on the pto operation. Everything from engaging the live pto drive to running the pto. Mine runs continuously and im not sure why as of yet.

I want to thank you for this video. My dad just recently unexpectedly passed away and he told me over the summer that next summer he was going to show me all the maintenance on the tractors. Well that didn’t get to happen.l unfortunately. But I’m fortunate for UA-cam and people like you. I’ve been learning a lot and I feel comfortable doing most of the basic maintenance myself now.

This video was perfect. I had all four sensors replaced in less than 30min. Side note. I bought all 4 sensors off Amazon 2:46 for less than $25

I have the same code. Plus my backup can’t working. It’s a 2013 explorer. So I’m guessing it’s most likely the same problem. But also heard it can be a fuse.

That is in the PTO clutch.

John Deere Hy Gard is 10 weight oil, pricey but that is what I use.

Really amazing job. You did forget the fuel filters though right? I am asking as I just purchased mine and am following your video. I also put created directions on msword with your pics. I do have a question, my oils were not that good, but ok. My PowRtrol still has a black thick slimey goo that is just a touch to thick to drain out by itself. Shocking to see it in a hydraulic system??? I am thinking of shoving a steam cleaner into the fill hole and letting it heat, pew and puke? What do you think? Did you want the msword doc? You can share it if so. Its handy.

My 50 JD sounds more like Farmall but it's going to need a tune up for sure
