I know it's just a game and all but the moment I heard in the trailer the Oratrice will make "The Hydro Archon" die my eyes started watering up, and this cutscene was just the end of that... 3 years I waited for the Hydro Archon herself to be on my team and now she's just not here it feels like grief
If it makes you feel better, you can still play with the hydro archon tho. Furina is technically the hydro archon but she was seperated with her divine form and in origin she is the hydro archon. And if you dont want to accept that, you can play with Neuvillette too, he is the hydro dragon, the hydro sovereign which is more powerful than the archons and Neuvillette got his authority back so he is fully a hydro dragon now and again they were more powerful than archons. So you dont need to be sad about not playing the hydro archon, actually it benefits you more than you think. You have 2 options to play with the hydro archonish characters. First one is Furina, she was the hydro archon but she got seperated by her divine form and the second one is Neuvillette which is totally stronger than the hydro archon.
I'm kinda half expecting an Arcon to be long dead at this point. You may not get all the Arcons playable. Idk
I just realised I spoiled myself and I even didn't start playing the archon quest 😭 ( I'm at Sumeru archon quest)
@@skymatic5643I wouldn’t say dragons are necessarily stronger than archons. Morax and Ei were pretty powerful, before they were granted the dragons’ powers. Additionally, Ei never even had them.
@@skymatic5643Furina is only partially an archon, only outwardly and character remind us of Focalors, but she is the same as Shogun Raiden. Ei (Focalors) created the Shogun (Furina) for your plan. To rule the country in their absence. Both are powerful, only one is strong and the other is at the level of the archon. Both are exact copies of the archons Hydro and Electro, both creatures of the archons, one a man, the other a doll. But you consider Furina to be a character, although the doll also has its own character. In other words, Furina has never been an archon and will not be one, but her feat as a Great Actress for 500 years will not go unnoticed. Although hydro archon Focalors has died, but you can play for the current four archons and wait for the fifth, and hopelessly watch the cut of the scene of the executed hydro archon.

It’s so - fury - filled. Righteous Anger. Justice. The tempo of the music rises as the pain increases only to fall as He decides pity/ mercy instead.
It truly befits the return of a Dragon Sovereign.

Gosh this song means so much, just before I finished this quest, I was in a position where I felt like Furina and this scene just about made me cry 🥲 love Furina and Focalors 😭

I love this version. In slow motion this theme is so lofty and serious. When I listen to it, I want to cry because I immediately remember the dance and then the death of Focalors. Thank you for this version of this wonderful theme 😭

If the prophecy is wrong that means FOCALORS is the one dying and if it’s true all Fontaine will die

I don’t understand how people are so upset over Focalors. I cried over Rukkhadevata because all through Sumeru, her great deeds and expansing benevolence were sung, and now nobody would ever remember her. Whereas Neuvillette can still remember Focalors, and we literally only knew her for like half an hour. We knew all through the Sumeru Archon Quests about Rukkhadevata. Anyway, love the music.

When you think abour Focalors's backstory it does hurt as she never chose to be a humanoid figure or become an Archon and whilst being Archon, she never got to enjoy the beauty of Fontaine's Opera as well as watching over her people due to a prophecy that was forced into her hands. She accended 500 years ago and all of that was focused on the prophecy rather than her people. Despite the prophecy over, she'll never be able to watch Fontaine.
your acting like that you're the only person who is upset over the greater lord rukkhadevata, why do you care if people are upset and crying over focalor's death? im also sad abt the greater lord rukkhadevata's death too. "i dont understand how people r upset over focalor's death " play the story and read the dialouge, maybe you'll understand why. we also knew rukkhadevata for an hour and her cutscene, stop being dramatic about it.
and also, focalors suffered for 500 years and same thing goes for furina, she has to act like the real hydro acrhon to trick celestia. it was all apart of focalor's plan to be against celestia/asmoday
