Finally someone calling out the heart and fish head nebula for what they look like XD
I was just about to fucking write the same thing man.
Wow - that filter sounds amazing! Thanks for the alert.
No problem. It looks pretty amazing
Your description are clear, easy to follow and love the sense of humor. Keep them coming.
Thank you, very kind!
Awesome video. I pre-ordered the L-Ultimate myself! Can't wait.
Nice!
Great video Nick 👍
Thanks Rich!
Thank you Nick, great video as always, easy to understand and well presented 👍
Thanks Lee!
Great stuff, Nick! Lol, love the weather forecast at the end 😂Too real!
😂 I figured as it’s the news I’d end with the weather!
Thanks,Nick. I wasn't aware of the new Optolong Ultimate, and the reviews will be fun to read.
I’m really trying my hardest not to order one
Nice review 👍🏼👍🏼. Guess I’ll have to keep the new filter on my list. Thanks for sharing.
No worries!
Can't get enough of that Jupiter image with the Aurora, ring system and the not usually seen moons! Oh and the great er? Blue spot
Same!!
Brilliant! from Pennsylvania 😊
Thank you!
Great video, I really like these series with new things to come, well done Nick
Looking forward to the new filter, looks very interesting and affordable, that new camera on the other hand is something else .. that files size must be huge and those pixels must be very tiny to get 100Mp on such a little sensor
Thank you! Pixel size is the same as the 533. It’s an absolute monster of a camera but I’ll never own one!
@@AstroExploring I just took a look at the asi website and I thought that you said that the new camera would have en 3/4 sensor, that's why I said it would have very tiny pixels.
But it's not a 3/4 sensor but it's 3,4 inch sensor, so a medium format sensor, like the Fuyi GFX100.
Than it's normal to have 100Mp, but I don't have the computer to process those images and also not the money to buy it + a new computer
I like your videos😊
Thank you 😃
Great report, Nick.
I am quite excited about that new Optolong L-Ultimate dual-3nm filter. I have the L-eNhance and this would be a great addition to my filter arsenal. Now about that new ZWO camera ... well, you know you got troubles when the camera cost more than quadruple the telescope and mount combined. Plus, I can't imagine the FIT file size of each image! As good as it appears, I think I too will take a pass.

Thanks Patrick! I hadn’t even thought of the file size from the camera, I bet they’re massive!! Perhaps something like 150MB each
I have the L extreme filter. I do have some hallows in bright stars.
I just finished a project of photographing the Heart and Soul nebulae, now I’m working on M31.
Nice!
Hey Nick, thank you for the nice video’s, im a fan haha.
Question.
I’m quite sure to buy the ultimate filter for my telescope. But im travelong to australia in a few weeks, with lots of class 1 skies! Is t a good idea to attach the ultimate filter with some step down rings to a wide angle lens in class 1 skies? Just wondering. Oh and i will take my star adventurer 2i with me 😊
Thank you!
Another cracking video love them all as u full well know Nick take care and clear skies ah yeah errr we both live in the uk so that isn't gunna happen lol
Thanks Mike. Definitely no clear skies for us lol
@@AstroExploring ur very welcome can i make a request for a video maybe others would like this too can u do a beginners guide to setting up equipment and start photographing using the Asiair using the on screen plate solving if you haven't already done one if u have please can u send me a link cheers again love ur videos
I misread the title as using a "$15 camera" I thought he was going to get a usable image with an old mono webcam or something. lol. Hey, video idea!
Well done, Do you see ZWO coming out with the next generation of ASIair?
I don’t own one but for the sake of people who do I hope not. They’re turning into Apple with the amount of models they’re releasing, and they’re all features that could’ve easily been included from v1/2!
The baby's college fund or that new ZWO camera? If you can sell that idea it would become legend.
😂😂
Is jwst using the optolong filters? 😅
What was that nebula you mentioned that looks like something else, I missed the name? Was it the Bell End nebula?
That’s the one 😂
£15K camera!! Switched off
You mean you’re not buying one?!
@@AstroExploring
I’ll have to save for a few weeks 😂 PS:- only joking about switching off and I watched the whole video
Can we point the JWST at Betelgeuse to see if it has gone supernova yet, or is that like injecting bleach to kill COVID-19? Love the news, keep it up, Nick.
Thanks Robert!
