GSX-R is the best blank canvas platform for Joe Sixpack on a budget. It's like the Glock 19 of motorcycles. Simple, reliable, inexpensive, easy to work on, massive aftermarket support,.. It's always fun seeing an experienced rider at the track with their dialed Gixxer straight up Diddy slapping bros on their exotics. Always reminds me of the Zack and Ari viddy a few years back where they went faster on a high mileage K5 Gixxer vs. a new V4S.

I like this guy, has context to his opinions... 'What am I using the bike for? Is this my only bike? what kind of riding? Who is the customer?" Most people are simple minded...

I put SBS brake pads, steel lines and a brembo master on my Gixxer 750 and it made a huge difference in stopping power and feel. Definitely worth the money for the confidence in braking. Love the Suzuki platform even if they are years behind in tech.

I believe gabro works on smoothing out the throttle, as when you're actually racing you want that initial throttle to be butter smooth...

The Gixxer comparison to a Civic Type R really makes a lot of sense. I agree with Michael 💯 29:24

Aprilia makes such good bikes. They really limit their market share with such a limited number of dealers.

The limited bike Aprilia just came out with is a true bullet. I've always loved Aprilia if not for being the fastest (which they are very fast), however they're truly just an all around terrific bike. Lifetime fan here.

The big thing about the gabro tune is that soft initial throttle. The bike becomes supremely smooth yet insanely fast with his tune. I'd really not like a touchy throttle on a high HP bike. It would be dodgy on track, mid corner

I was between the RSV4 and the GSXR.
The overall comfortability that cruise control grants, better dash board, and way better interest rates pushed me to RSV4.
RSV4 has an amazing QS. ZX10 is probably the worst QS I've experienced.

agree, I had a 23 gsxr 1000 and traded it for an RSV4. I liked SUZUKI but I LOVE the RSV4. Better in every way.

I almost bought the MOTOMILLION SFV4 from Ducati Miami last December; however I purchased a new one here at AMS DUCATI DALLAS .
    A few questions:
Where can I purchase the Rossi T-shirt that you are wearing in this video??
Also any knowledge of if there will be Changes to the 2025 BMW s1000rr ??.. (will it be at EICMA)
    Thanks Manny!

I'm waiting for Ducati to release the V4R with a dual sided swingarm, the single sided swingarm makes the bike less good at full lean when racing, it over works the rubber.

I loved my GSX R1000R but it got stolen yesterday becasue my mechanic left it outside all night! On camera 2 dudes just picked it up and threw it in a van. I have no words. BTW the GSX-R1000R has steal braded front lines that do make a "better" braking experience...BUT they still sucked compared to my Ducati SF v4 or triumph. I am not sure but I think the pads are better and the upgraded BFF(best friend forever) suspension is superior and it is only 1.5-2k more i think. I am done with japanese supersports bikes since you have a STEAL ME target on your back. I replaced it with a Triumph speed triple 1200 RR....I also want to test ride the APrilia RSV4 now. I can't fit well on the panigale.

It's such an strange American mentality to buy the most expensive bike you can afford (or buy something that is more than you can afford). Like the value of your bike (or whatever) is somehow a direct reflection of your own value as a person. It's almost as if people can't imagine a situation where they have enough money to buy every exotic bike in the world and still they choose to buy something like a GSXR.

    • @thepassionofthegoose5472
      @thepassionofthegoose5472 3 місяці тому +1

That's more the mentality of an inexperienced rider with more disposable income than actual side-of-tire skill. Like most place in the world, find properly fast group rides in a region with seriously twisty roads and a few tracks and you'll find hordes of riders who value their abilities over branding and bling.

@@__Max-oe6zm That's my take-away as well. I'm in California and every rider I know rides categories of machine (supernaked, etc), not brand of bike. They all want what that style/category of bike delivers, in the package they can use most often. Cheers.
