THINGS YOU’LL NEED:
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
¼ cup apple cider vinegar (or try malt vinegar)
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons habanero hot sauce (or use your favorite)
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper (use ghost chili powder for some EXTRA HEAT)
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
3 pounds chicken approximately

Chicken on the grill is at such a higher level to begin with.. Add a well seasoned marinade, only that much better.

So glad you posted this... of course living with a latino over here, I'm thinking of making this to marinade a whole chicken with this recipe and doing beer can chicken with it. Talk about delicious!!! Oh, and I'll marinade overnight for max flavor of course!

Perfect timing! Pulled some chicken thighs out of the freezer yesterday to make on Sunday, now I know what I'm using as a marinade. It's supposed to rain so I may have to air fry but I'm excited to try it!

Looks so mighty fine! On horrible weather days (no covered porch here), do you think this would work in the crockpot along with some potatoes, turnips and onions? Maybe need some chicken stock too? Please advise Brother.

Not so much a marinade, but a chicken tip: baking chicken at 400-410 degree Fahrenheit (~205-210 Celcius) for 20 minutes (make sure you use wax paper/parchment paper) creates the JUICIEST chicken breasts I've ever had, do 18 minutes for thighs. They also stay juicy for up to 3 days in the fridge. Chicken cooked on stove top or on a bbq I find dries out a lot quicker. Pro tip: once your 22 min (or 18) is up, take them out of the oven and transfer the chicken RIGHT AWAY to a different container so it doesn't continue to overcook. It'll still cook a bit after removing but that's why we do 20 minutes.
I am not a professional cook but have been experimenting with cooking chicken for almost 20 years now. This method is my go to if I want juicy chicken (aka all the time).

I love that marinade recipe. I'm not a huge chicken fan. I got food poisoning once, so I don't really crave it. Would that pair with pork? Or shrimp? Or what other protein?
This would work great with other proteins, or veggies.
