Soul Sovereign is Kind of Crazy...

Defeating Soul Sovereign, a mod by Samihamer1 to make Soul Tyrant slightly more challenging by summoning Soul Warriors and other mobs, using the dreaded sideways dash, and adding just a few extra orbs via bullet hell.
The changes are interesting but the bullet hell that occurs after being killed goes on for just a little too long. Since it's basically an endurance match going in with a health boost charm and dreamwielder to dream nail his spirit between bullet hell phases lets you last through the end quite easily. However, there's some cheap attacks that can hit you such as the small orbs that come from off screen to form the giant orbs so it kind of balances out.

I thought that the boss was well made and challenging but balanced, a nice way to spruce up soul tyrant.
Then I saw that we weren't even halfway through the video and phase 3 was just starting.

How do you enjoy soul tyrant? I can enjoy soul warrior, the warrior dreams, even vengefly king, but I don’t think I’ve ever had fun fighting soul tyrant, and I’d really like to

this is my 2nd favorite modded boss so far I will admit the bullet hell at the end lasts a bit longer then it should but they could have made it worse so I like it anyway. I also like how they added new dream nail dialogue to him in the third phase. adding onto the Pure Focus lore tablets in the Soul Sanctum

Phase 1 and 2 are AMAZING. Only slight complaint is the Soul Warrior spawn can be wonky (either double spawning inside each other or walls which kills readability) Phase 3 has way way way too long in between times to hit the guy, why couldn't he have been floating around during that time so you could try and hit him? 8/10
