Very good analysis. I would have like a demonstration though, at high speed, 200/220 bpm... the loose in the left padal is a bummer and was well demonstrated. Thanks!
Any chance you tried the single pedal? Do the same issues you mentioned carry over to those? I just bought a double kick set after playing DW 5000 double pedal on a single kick for years. I don’t have any experience with direct drove pedals and was looking at the single version of these to try out.
Dont take my word on this but from a person that skates, look for something towards maybe $40 +. I might be totally wrong. All i know is that many skaters swear by like Bones Swiss
@@augustvintermossa Thanks I finally got rid of these pedals, just too hard for me without being able to adjust the pedal height. Been looking at Trick drums pedals lately or maybe even Axis A LBs. Adjustment is easier on the Trick though.
Hi, thanks...greetings from Ireland...what other mid price Direct drive double pedals would you recommend. ?..I’m a pro player but only playing a couple of times a week but with rehearsals...I just don’t want to buy pedals that will wear out to quickly ..cheers
Mitch Varn... so you think for mid price DD double pedals these pdps are the best ? What about the parts ...you were saying their not very good ? Can you buy replacement parts... Any other mid price double DD pedals you would recommend ? What do you think of gerbralta DD double pedals ? What replace bar would you buy for the pdp?... Thanks

Can you talk about what you did to change the bearings?
Thanks for the video. Do you know of somewhere i can get replacement screws for that middle bearing you were talking about?
You could try the manufacturer. Just find a service number.
Can you tell me which downhill super high speed skateboard bearing you used? I want to do that, stocks seem kind of slow.

I'm thinking of buying this and buying a used driveshaft used in the demon drives if i can get one
I put new bearings in mine and they work great.

I moved from Axis to these, I want to try the pearl demon drives they are priced pretty good and seem to be built well. I have a friend who uses them.

@@sustan4532 if you're going to spend the money, get yourself demon drives and replace the connector bar with the trick drums universal.
jeremiah davis Thank you...
I just bought these pedals and am kind of disappointed. Is there really NO way to adjust beater angle?
the little screw above the spring tention. you loosen that and you can freely adjust it
If I play some rifts can u add beat to it?
For like intros and outros
Does the heel plate hinge hold up?
I haven't had any issue with that at all. They are still going strong but the play in the pedals is getting worse by the year.
Damn UA-cam suppressing your videos bro
Solar Power Electricity and Electronics yep 3 views lol the tubes hates me for some reason haha

It's only time before these things fail. Mine are really loose now. I might get another year out of the,.
