@@natemartinez2745 I believe they all are honey. Layne told Mike Starr the night before he died that Demri came to him. Mike laughed it off thinking Layne was just too high. Andrew Wood's death was the first one to pass away. Chris wrote "Say Hello to Heaven" & Jerry Cantrell wrote "Would" in his memory. Temple of the Dog was named after a lyric to a song Andrew wrote. Both Chris Cornell & Layne Staley were tight with Andrew. Chris & Andy were roommates. Layne's fiancee Demri Parrott (she died in '97 from condition brought on by IV drug use called myocarditis, where the lining of the heart swells & gets inflamed leading to death, she was just 27). Layne & Andrew both had fiancees who were friends: Demri & Xana La Fuente. Andrew's band "Mother Love Bone" was first Seattle band to get signed to huge record deal & were literally days away from debut album drop when Andrew overdosed, Xana found him unconscious, he was in coma for two or three days before plug was pulled. Layne & Demri split in '93/'94, but the day before he died, former bandmate Mike Starr (also dead @ 44 yrs old), was with Layne, who was @ his apt, said that Layne insisted that he saw Demri the night before. As if she was waiting to accompany Layne to the other side. This entire circle of friends/musicians torn apart from drug addiction & suicide.

I'm typically pretty skeptical, particularly with things involving the supernatural, but I think theres actually something to the deceased visiting us in our dreams. It's obviously unprovable and make sense that one might dream of the recently departed because death is a consuming time, however it's happened to me numerous times now, and every time the the dream feels different than a typical dream. Also, I've had dreams of two people who I didn't know died, until afterwards.

In a way I hated that grunge was putting Rock back a bit even wasn’t the biggest fan of Alice In Chains for about the first year I heard of them Nirvana SoundGarden etc,But I will honestly say these great musicians didn’t dispatch Rock,Like many who come before and will surely come after,These great musicians and visionaries brought something new and exciting to the Rock genre, kind of added a nice splash of color to a canvas that maybe lacked inspiration!!!I also want to say Kurt,Chris,Layne etc were so incredible and I’m Thankful for their contributions to Rock along with their incredible band mates they’ve created a legacy that will stand for many generations to draw from,So I stand corrected as I now cannot put into words how much I appreciate these great artists!!!

I had one not too long ago where i was sitting at a table somewhere, and Layne randomly came and just next to me. We just stared at each other for a few seconds, and that was it.
Some months ago i had a dream of Chris. I was in a sort of elevator which you can see outside through glass. After few seconds i realized that Chris was Next to me. I said while i was hugging him: "Chris i'm glad you are alive, you saved my life so many Times with your music!" I woke up crying like a baby, fuck...

Well this is interesting, I too have had friends who passed away then shortly after make a visit in my dreams. How Chris described seeing them is exactly how I saw it. One of my friends had poor health drug problems and passed away. When I saw him in my dream he was at healthy body weight face was clean and had a clear voice. Other dream was a person that died in a crash late one night. He visited briefly didn’t say anything just looked at me with a smile then disappeared when my brain switched scenes, woke up next morning checked facebook found out he passed 3 months ago at the time.

man, i really wish chris was still here. i wasn’t even a fan of this type of music til last year and i wasn’t even aware of him at all really but god.
Famous or not, if your depressed get help.
THERE IS A LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL!
Even call a suicide hotline to talk to an anonymous person...talking helps and they will lead you.
NOTHING is that bad, and I been thru hell and almost not back.
Life is short enough, don't shorten yours. YOU matter!!
“Are dreams and reality in the same dimension” - I love an interviewer who’s higher than me.
Chris mightve been the only person who was a genuine friend (and peer) of Jeff Buckley, Kurt Cobain, Layne Staley, Chester Bennington (if I recall correctly), Cantrell, (probably Lanegan aswell). I think he was really the glue that helped people mesh in some regards. Just interesting to watch all of these old videos and to see Chris was involved with everyone
Three legends, gone...
Rip
1:28 He's talking about Andrew Wood of Malfunkshun, and Mother Love Bone.
3 of the best to ever do it. Music will never be this good again
Chris had the most beautiful eyes in rock history, and one of the greatest voices.
3 Great fallen Heroes
and the thing is that non of us knew truly how they died..
and i do believe they didn't ended their lives
SPECIALLY
Chris Cornell
If you go down that rabbit hole- the symbolism says a lot.
accept it and move on
I had a dream of layne to i was walking through the woods and he was on top of a tree looking at me and then i woke up.we love you layne.
I was at that memorial. I didn't recognise him due to the blonde hair lol. I'm blessed with a few pics though. We sure do miss all these guys.
Somehow, Eddie Van Halen's death today, after several hours of music and crying, has brought me here. Again. With Chris and Layne.
I liked all their music. Chris had the best catalog because he was around the longest and really had the best overall.
If heaven exists, I hope Kurt, Chris, and Layne are all jamming together.
This is too sad_ guys whenever you all are hope its filled with light and love and all pain and suffering was just a bad dream..We still love you Layne_ Kurt_ Chris..simply weren't ment for this world but for a short time God gifted to us _ you gorgeous talented Angel's..
I never, in a million years, would of guessed he would have left us too...
RIP all of us.
Kurt. Layne. Scott. Chris. Chester. Jimi Everyone I've found to be impactful as a singer has died tragically young.
Kurt’s gone, Layne’s gone, Chris is gone, at least we still have Eddie Vedder
Thank God for Eddie, may he be safe....
Please anyone out there that knows another human that is suffering with depression. Please do what you can to help THANK YOU. ✌
Anyone who read Chris' blog on Layne, knows what he said, but here it seems he's almost shrugging it off. He said more when asked about Kurt and Andrew.
I like the guitar at the end...
"Seasons"
All of my favorites are now dead:
Scott
Chris
Layne
Kurt
Prince
Michael
It is fucking astounding. Someone needs to put a force field around Josh Homme, Dave Grohl, all of Pearl Jam, Jerry Cantrell, and assorted members of QOTSA. Jesus.
*THIS STILL FUCKING HURTS!*
Still love this band to bad layne had to waist his talent on drugs then death. I think he was a very depressed person and very deep. If u listen to his words in his songs he was very deep and depressed he chose drugs to deal with his depression. R.I.P
The lead singers to the grunge rock were dropping like flies.
who next fucking artist, i dont want cry again, never never. ...........!!!!!!!!
Chris Cornell used to scream back in the day " Jesus is my friend " , over and over again .. theres a video of it..
and now they're besties for real.
I love all 3 of these dudes. At least we got to keep Chris for a bit longer I can only imagine what else Kurt woulda done, Nirvana is prolly still my favorite band. Layne's story is so fucking sad he must of been completely alone at the end even if it was his own doing that's fucking sad he was a great fucking singer!!
He dyed his hair ❤
i saw chris in concert days before he died… didn’t see it coming /
:(
No one mentions Shannon Hoon or Bradley Nowell much anymore.
Just 5 years ago, it was just Kurt and Staley that were gone. Now it’s Chris and Scott. Jesus fuck, fuck getting old.
Wow watching Chris Cornell speak on this you could guess it was only a matter of time
Are the three best bands of the 90s still listen to all them everyday throw Pearl Jam in there too
Such a intelligent man
Rip all 3 of you guys
Does anyone recognize the song that plays from 3:17-3:20? Been trying to figure that one out for awhile now.
Rick Allen Doesnt Remind Me, Audioslave.
Thanks Felipe Munoz C! Heard that for the first time on the radio in May shortly after Chris's passing. Great groove both instrumentally and vocally.
It is one of my favorites Audioslave song. Love the lyrics too (y)

About Layne or Kurt
Anyone remember Candlebox? I love them too
Kurt, Layne and Chris may the angels be with you all so sad xxxxxooooo
Well this is interesting, I too have had friends who passed away then shortly after make a visit in my dreams. How Chris described seeing them is exactly how I saw it. One of my friends had poor health drug problems and passed away. When I saw him in my dream he was at healthy body weight face was clean and had a clear voice. Other dream was a person that died in a crash late one night. He visited briefly didn’t say anything just looked at me with a smile then disappeared when my brain switched scenes, woke up next morning checked facebook found out he passed 3 months ago at the time.
Can anyone tell me what is the brief exerpt of music at the end of this video. Something of Cornells I think but not sure....
GetzGoth 3113 seasons by Chris Cornell. From the Singles soundtrack
I think it's "Seaons" by Chris Cornell.
if only the 3 couldev sang one song together wouldev been unreal ! but dreams are for free yer? so lets just enjoy there music and legacies that will never die✌
3:06 you wont expect this from a singer... guess he was very emotional talking about layne
What's the song that starts at the end of the video?
Seasons by Chris Cornell :)
I think that Chris was ..."eliminated". Unbelievable, they got away out of here.
Kurdt,weiland,cornell,staley legend

Sounds like an acousitc version of an alice in chains song.
“Seasons” by Chris Cornell

It’s a shame cornell and kurt doesn’t have picture together its just shame
Imagine how awesome that would be to have Eddie, Chris, Layne, and Kurt all in the same picture! (Ik Eddie, Chris, and Layne toured together once, but Kurt would be the icing on that photo cake!)
I hate that he passed especially on my birthday of all days, him and ian Curtis died on my birthday.
Say goodbye, don't follow.
Say goodbye to the ones that we love
'll 3 of these Bands, were the soundtrack to the best times of my life ,and some fucked up times also,But I made it through
