Thank you 😊 I do find our crossings really interesting, especially since each one is usually quite different and, as Matt a Tiger has pointed out, the UK has some of the safest crossings in the world

I think ive already mentioned before that im hoping to film a few level crossings near where i live, athough it seems i could do with getting a decent dedicated video camera
(i did previously film some of them but i ended up deleting the footage, athough being as the camera i used was a cheap thing that recorded at 30fps and duplicated the frames when i asked it to record at 60fps, even if i had a chance to go back in time to stop myself from deleting the footage i wouldnt do so, and there was one time when i managed to catch North Seaton Level Crossing (in Northumberland) close, but as i wasnt expecting it, i only started recording when the "exit" barriers were lowering, and what didnt help was that i hit the wrong button on the phone, i was using what i can only describe as a "keyboard smartphone" which could only record 360p at best video, but that footage got deleted as well)
I have 4 cheap cameras, a cheap camcorder (which i dont use any more), and 3 cheap action cameras, out of the 3 action cameras only 1 of them records at true 60fps, the other 2 record at 30fps with the frames duplicated, athough it seems the image sensors in all of those cheap cameras arent really up to the task of 1080p (i did use one of those cameras to record something which i did back in Feb 2019, i wont say what it was though)
I also have 2 cameras which are actually photo cameras which can also record video (athough i much prefer to have a dedicated video camera), one of them is a Canon Powershot SX150 IS (which i have had since January 2013), it can record at 720p at 29 point something fps, but one issue with it is the batteries dont seem to last for more than 3 minuites when recording continuously, 4 if i am lucky, even though the manual says that i should get 20 minuites recording time, or 1 hour of continuous recording, and it uses disposable batteries
the other camera is a Canon EOS 4000D (which i got in September 2019), it can record at either 1080p 25fps, or 720p 50fps, this camera uses rechargable batteries, and i have no idea what the actual maximum recording time for me would be, but as using video recording on it messes with the photo numbering i wont be using it for video recording, I do have a video of a weird level crossing that i came across which i recorded using this camera (mainly to test the video recording function, and i discovered that the camera has 2 buttons that can be used to start and stop recording, and unfortunaltly i pressed one of those buttons without knowing what that button did in video mode, so i had to start the video over)
I am thinking of getting a gopro to use for video recording (which would be kind of like the cheap action cameras, except it would actually record decent quality video), and i may even end up buying 2
